Yep....the 13/14 GT500 lacked many things IMO but power wasn't one of them but the good ole boys at shelby thought so, so this was the result LOL
^^ this... I agree, nice car Shelby put together but in true form a super snake is a gt500 taken to the next limit by Shelby...and what's up with that trap speed?116?? I did that in my 14 5.0 with a tune,x pipe and Intake.
This is a complete FAIL and the price is absurd. A GT350R, at less than 1/2 the price, would use this new SS as a pylon.
complete fail in my opinion.
That trap speed is absolutely absurd. An 850hp Escalade, F150, Range Rover, Cayenne, anything basically, would trap much higher than that regardless of traction difficulties.
Well at least it looks nice but that hood looks out of place on this design. Wish the would stop beating old styling ques into the ground.........

A Super Snake it will never be, since the underlying car is nothing more than a GT to begin with.
The performance numbers, the sputtering engine, the super-touchy brakes, maybe all these items will be fixed for the production cars, but Shelby should've never allowed the car to be tested with all these issues not addressed.

another overpriced shelby flop - at least the rear wheel offset is better than the old Alcoa's 
Shelby American has become a parts swapper. It sounds like they have not bothered to adjust and tune the car for the bolt ons. I really like the looks. I sure hate they let the cars come out so poorly coordinated.
With Ford licensing the Shelby name now, with infinitely better R&D capability, SAI is totally redundant at this point. Just close up shop and keep cashing in those royalty checks.

Yikes. Not a good showing. I'm guessing the next GT500 will crush this in every way possible.

iMO The reason SHELBY is found 42 times is because they are mass producing add on/bolt in parts for regular mustang owners to buy and add to their cars... When people are paying crazy money for these parts they want the Shelby name but in moderation throughout the car.. Now in this case it looks like Shelby just bolted on every possible part they offer for the s550 platform and charge 100k for it.
