S/C Heads Cam C6Z vs VMP TVS Cobra?

Just wondering what you guys think about this match-up?

2009 C6 Z06 with heads and cam, with a Supercharger at 6~psi

2004 Cobra, VMP TVS, Supporting Mods, 50 Dry Shot, E85.

If these two cars were rolling down the road, and decided to make some quick 40-140 pulls, which one should take the cake?

the Zo6 would embarrass the cobra, TVS or not. even if you had him on the punch, aerodynamics would play a huge roll after 100(if not before).

Even if it was just a h/c Z I would give the nod to the Z. Add the 6psi and game over.

My friends h/c/full exhaust z06 made 600 WHP. So if you could make like 740 without the bottle, you might have a chance. lol.

So it takes 790rwhp in a 3900lb Cobra, to out accelerate a 600rwhp N/A Vette? :??:

What if the driver of the Vette shifts a little slower than the driver of the Cobra? Any chance for the Cobra?

My friends h/c/full exhaust z06 made 600 WHP. So if you could make like 740 without the bottle, you might have a chance. lol.

Kelly is probably making 720+ without the bottle and he is on DR's so from a roll I think he will give the Z a good run. A 50 shot on a supercharger is usually good for 65+ hp. Only one way to find out....make it happen!!

The 50 shot, picked up exactly 50rwhp. It did make like 75 more ft lbs though. :beer:

You said the vette had a blower. So obviously its going to make more than 600 whp....

I'm good. I won't put a "lower" on the car. I'll stick with upper only.

I did try a smaller upper, but it ended up slipping severely. With that slipping 2.5", it only went 10.3@135. :bored:

Gotcha, I wouldn't change the lower either. 10.3 is nothing to sneeze at. I'm sure it will get into the 9's if you get some more track time with it.:rockon:

yeah ill give the nod to the Z. Hear is why. i run the 1/8 with mine and it runs 107 mph just with heads and cam N/A made 601rwhp. the same setup ive seen in the high 9s in the 1/4 NOW ADD THAT BLOWER!! heck my na setup on a 175shot has been 5s in the 1/8

So, heads and cam went 107. Add 6PSI, and what do you think it would run? Like low 1-teens?

I guess there is no chance this Cobra being talked about could be a very good performing Cobra, with possibly a better driver?
