About ready to hit the sack right now...

I'm pretty far down that list.. Wonder how long it'll take for me to get my turn. I have to leave by probably 12-1 to meet up with my real estate agent so I can preview some overpriced condos.. Damn S.cal housing costs!

Should be fun..

Jaun you can give out my spot. Too much drink and I need to sleep. I'll cruise by after I wake up to have lunch. I'll bring some chips and anything I think of tomorrow morning.

    Juan

    Powertrain Dynamics

The event went very smooth and Juan can cater my parties anytime!
I'm sure results will be posted later, so i won't spoil the surprize...but I have to say that I am still in total shock at my numbers.

This was my first face-to-face meeting with board members and I am very proud to be associated with this group...not a flake among 'em (but heck, what can you tell from just one meeting  )

Thanks everyone for a Saturday well spent.

Sorry I got stuck at home after I left. The wife pulled a fast one. Did anyone get 500 HP or better yet 500 ft/lbs? See you guys at the track.

Your A/F is a little on the lean side until 5500 RPM. What kind of Octane were you running?

Allan I think because you have the bigger injectors you are pushing similar numbers to mine with less boost, I need to get the new kb injectors plus new tune and see.

lean A/F = that's why I'm so excited, there's more to be had...can't wait to get my custom tune in a couple of weeks. The

Octane? = good old Calif 91 proof (Mobil)

it does look a little lean between 3500-5000 (looks great at peak hp) but it could be cuz the a/f was measured via sniffer rather than bung. steve @ powertrain makes a rather convincing argument re: the measurements. when he did an experiment and compared a/f's measured both ways, the numbers were identical. the sniffer wave was a little delayed but that was all. but hey, ymmv. just keep your ears open for any pinging in case you pick up some bad gas.

next time there's a dynoday we should hook the autotap up and see where things are different. right now my car runs rich (rich enough to throw "too rich" dtc's) because it hadn't been tuned for the bap but i'd definitely rather have that instead of running lean, burning a piston, etc.

Just on for a minute and then gotta jump off to meet another commitment.
Excellent turnout today. Saw some of the 'regular crew' and met some new folks. Just a bunch of gearheads thinking that listening to cars wind up and inhaling those exhaust fumes is a perfect way to celebrate a beautiful day.

Great job organizing (arm twisting) Juan!
Steve at Powertrain and his fiance, Annette, kept the cars rolling thru. 16 cars in around 4.5 hours.

FuShnickens -- mondo power award. Phew, over 600 rwhp, and an incredible sound to boot.

Abtin showed us what a lower (plus a few other goodies) can do and came in second in the hp contest, beating Piggie which only won the 'worst tune' award' by 6 hp. Piggie went so rich the A/F went off the chart. Well, we WERE trying to be conservative ha ha.

Loosenut cranked some great numbers and proved the Predator pulley tune -- untouched -- can do the job.

We had a much of Machs -- we missed PMachy...
