From the family cookbook,

One 3-pound pork butt, bone in
4 quarts water
Salt and pepper to taste
1-1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
1 teaspoons rubbed sage
1 teaspoon rosemary
1 teaspoon ground savory
1/8 teaspoon allspice (start with less)
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (start with less)
1/8 teaspoon cloves
3 cups corn meal

The how to is a lot more typing. If you wanna know I'll have the wife type it up tomorrow. Stuff is good though.

what about the tako poke you could get in any grocery out there? I loved that sh!t. I had this crazy buddy who'd go in the store and ask for cat poke, then try to get them to special order it.

sounds really good. I probably won't be making it to Cali, but the Mrs and I are hoping to take a vacation to HI w/in the next few years, and I'll be all about the grinds.
