Just wondering if anyone else likes the stuff. Where I grew up, SPAM was mighty fine eatin'. I haven't had any in years, and the other day on a whim I picked up a can at the store. Dayum, that shiz is goooooooooood. sliced up and fried a little crispy, almost as good as bacon.

Anyway, what do you think?

I love it too, sliced up and fried, either with eggs and hash browns, or on toast.

Tastes so good it's gotta be really bad for you.

I JUST made my G/F buy some last weekend. She's hooked too. I am a big fan of it with eggs like Scott.

Its also good in mac and cheese, cut into little bits. Or straight out of the can...God I'm disgusting.

When I was young, we had fried Spam sandwiches all the time. I hated it but we didn't have much choice.

heh heh heh. I just made one of those. on a toasted english muffin. no ketchup, no nothin' just pure heavenly SPAM, fried egg, and english muff. for dessert at 9:15 PM.

What are those Hawaiian things where they take a little rice cube, top it with SPAM, and wrap a ribbon of seaweed around the whole thing??

Can't figure out why I never went out and bought a can of the stuff for myself until now.

What about scrapple? I haven't had that since I was about 5, but I remember it being delicious. Anyone know what's in it and how to make it?

when I went hunting I'd throw a can of SPAM in the rucksack, and come lunch time I'd build a fire and fry slices in an Army surplus cook kit I had. Nothing like it.
I don't even want to know the nutritional value of it.
