God help us all. Spider webs in fuel lines prompt Suzuki to recall 19k cars.

Also some random pics of my encounters with spiders around my house. Happy Friday!

When I was a kid my grandparents had a ranch in Brownwood Texas. The house had a rock wall that was built up from the ground to about 1/4 of the way up the side of the house. Those garden spiders would practically surround almost the entire house on those rocks, as harmless and non-poisonous as they are, I still think they are some of the scariest looking spiders to inhabit this earth. They just give you chills looking at them especially when they reach their full size.

Same thing happened to the Mazda 6 a few years back. The sacks they spun were in the evap system and didn't allow the tank/system to vent.

Looking for spider webs / egg sacs in EVAP system vents is a known issue and is the subject to multiple TSBs not just for Suzuki. I know GM trucks have several of these.

Buddy just sent that the other day.
On a side note I bought a charcoal canister from a junkyard off a V6 and the vent tube on the evap purge valve was full of spider web/sack. Guess it happens to all cars but only causes problems on some?
