I was there when he was practicing. He is a nice guy. The pass against the Tesla was his 1st time ever running the 1/4 in his life! that Tesla would get smoked now. I watched him run 6-7 passes all high 10s with one 11.0. Those cars defy their weight and move out!
For a beginner, 5 passes is huge. 5 passes for an experienced driver is nothing.
This. Stock and drag radials don't belong in the same sentence.

That auto comes in quite handy.
I think that it's an impressive feat to hustle that big ass car down the track that quickly with just drag radials. And if the car is stock with the exception of the drag radials, I have no problem with the statement in the video. Because the car is stock and on drag radials. At least they didn't try to pass it off as completely stock on the OEM rubber.
I don't see why people are getting bent out of shape about the car being "stock with drag radials" since the owner is making it very clear that he is running DR's. Most people who do this say the car is stock and won't mention that they switched tires. Impressive for this car, and it's sad Dodge gave the hellcats such shitty factory tires.
Funny how we scrutinize the word "stock" depending on whether we are the one talking or not. So many times guys will say "bone stock" when talking about their CAI/gears car then b!tch & moan when someone has the audacity to put DR's on & say their otherwise unchanged car is "stock". LOL

that car was pulling into the track on sunday as i was pulling out. Didnt see it run, but theyve been all over the internet lately so i didnt care to stick around and watch.

This. Go to the market section and read all the Cobras for sale that are "stock", how many times do we hear "it's stock besides..." Well no then it isn't stock.
Just like this forum only cared about straight line performance(13-14 shelby)until the Hellcat was launched, now everyone is track guy. Amazing the crap that comes out of here.
