Stuff for office desk?

Just work. I think I want a bonsai tree!
I hear ya with the barren desks I got my PC/moniter/keyboard/mouse/speakers, and a card holder. along with the magazine I'm reading and a pen! woo
Maybe a 28" wide-screen monitor? 
That would be pretty nice. Maybe also consider some kind of cool/unique light to put in the corner?..like some kind of mini lamp?
My desk is empty because I can't deal with clutter.
If I were to use the space with useless items I would probably lay the bodies of dead hookers on it.

can you have pets? you can get a small bowl and put a beta fish in there, or maybe a couple of african water frogs (about an inch long and live underwater only).
Neither requires much maintinence and the frogs are pretty entertaining at times.

i like as little objects on my desk as possible, and as many folders/files (arranged neatly) as possible. Makes you look like you have alot of workflow.

All of our training/etc is electronic therefore no need for books/training stuff/etc.
I have my stenopads and fivestars that I taek my notes in but other than that is just my PC, keyboard, pens, stapler, and steno.
