Congrats man, good choice on the color combo. As the other guys have said, enjoy spending all your spare change on it.

Yep. Nearly every mod is a good one that adds character and/or performance to the GT500. Try not to go broke!

This was a great thread for me to go through. I am in a similar place deciding what to do. I have a 13 GT (A6, Brembo) and was ready to pull the trigger on a supercharger but then started looking at what I could get replacing the car and going for a 35K or under budget. The 07-12 GT500 has been top on my list along with the new 2018 GT Base. The GT500 seems like a winner in the raw fun department. The 2018 would be more comfortable and handle better but I think it may get boring quick.

Both good choices. Pure speed and ease of making stupid fast 2018 GT. GT500 always gets oohs and ahhs anytime I show up to a meet...easy to mod too...

Should consider waiting, save more money, get a 13-14; especially if you plan on doing anything more than a pulley / tune.
