Could I get some info on the event, I think I may be interested if it's indeed in Kentucky.

Bowling Green NMRA event,

End of sep/ beginning of oct

A couple guys have been working really hard to get a terminator event added to the schedule this year. The event ended up being a terminator/gt500 shootout to make sure there was enough cars and people racing to make it worth it.

I'm sure Jake can give a lot better details on the event but that the basic run down

I stole this from another shootout thread I found....

It's in Bowling Green. Here is the info on it. It should be up to date.

The NMRA is pleased to announce that Posi Performance has stepped up to the plate to sponsor a new class billed as the Terminator / GT500 Shootout at the NMRA World Finals in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the weekend of Sept. 29 - Oct. 2, 2011. The Terminator / GT500 Shootout will bring together some of the fastest Cobras and GT500s in the U.S. to compete in a heads-up winner take all format. Some of the loudest smack-talk on the web is from the Terminator / GT500 community all talking about who has the fastest ride...well this Shootout will decide it once and for all!

Posi Performance, one of the undisputed leaders in ported supercharger technology, put up the cash for the Terminator / GT500 class:

$500 Win
$200 R/U
$150 Semis
$100 Quarters
$75 Eighths

I can't wait for this, I attend the NMRA every year in Bowling Green and this should make the event more exciting for a Cobra owner. My car is too slow to race in the class but it should be fun to watch.

a little update.....got 30 rooms set aside at a GREAT rate. Just waiting on the email form the manager for the go ahead to tell you all. Good hotel, 12 miles form the track and in a good location right off the highway and stuff around it.

we will have till September 1st to book the 30 rooms after that they will be gone. If we need more Im sure it wont be a problem as long as we book early. Lots of hotels DID NOT have the room already so Id suggest if you are thinking or planning on going, book now and cancel later if need be

its still a class to show our cars. there is nothing slow about our cars even in stock form! you never know who is going to spin, miss a shift, break or what. at this point w/ 19 racers you win 1 round and you'll get some money back.

That's a very good point.

I'm watching bc mine is slow..... and my dd, if I have a truck by then to tow it ill race just to get as many people involved as possible but can't risk breaking that far from home at this point lol.
