OK guys here is a little discussion i want to know a little more on, give your opinions on who you think would win???

03/04 BONE STOCK COBRA

VS

1998 Cobra w/

4.10 gears
Catted X-pipe
Slp LM1
JLT intake
Pulleys
Dyno Tune

Lets say who would get it from the DIG and who would from a 40ROLL???

I have seen some youtube videos of N/A cobras with these mods and MACH 1's running door to door with a stock or VERY near stock (intake/catback) TERMINATORS....but also have seen some where the N/A 4V will win by a car or the TERMINATOR wins by a car...

WHO DO YOU THINK WOULD TAKE THE WIN???

98 cobra from dig but the terminator will catch up depending on how long the race is . From a 40 roll the 98 will get the jump but the cobra will win

WIth those mods i would say 03 for sure. Not by a lot but it will win. You would be looking at 13.30-13.50 with those mods in a 98 cobra. Stock 03 should go 12.90-13.2 depending on driver.

Hard to imagine the 98 winning in either situation. Even with the bolt ons, I doubt the 98 is within 50-75 hp of the 03. The gears will help for sure, but the 03 has so much more low end torque. I would expect the 03 to reel in, then walk the 98. Just my humble opinion.

i think the torque of the terminator would take the win in just about every situation. 4.10s would help the 98 but not enough

I don't see the 98 having a chance at all. Terminator by a long shot.

The 98 may get a jump with gears (doubt it) but will quickly be left behind. The 98 might have 300hp peak. I had a 2001 with every bolt on and the better heads, 4.10s - got 324hp. You are going to get at least 50 more hp with a stock 2003.

I think a mach1 with those mods would be a good race against a stock (or mostly stock) 03/04 cobra.

Well guys, i now own a 04 Termi with intake, O/R X, Magna packs...my 98 is geared and bolt-on...i personally think the 98 would pull the Termi from a dig by about a fender or so until about 40mph....then my 04 would pull out on it fairly easy...but not a rape...just my opinion from driving the 2...from a roll...i think the 98 would get a good hit, but the 04 would just real it in a and pull like a bat out of hell

Congrats on the new Terminator!!! Pics????

I had a 96 Cobra which was similar to yours. The Terminator all the way if driven right. The 98 might trap 107...maybe. A well driven Terminator should trap at least 110. That's a pretty big difference if both cars are driven to their potential.

Did you post in the kill section that you beat a new 2013 GT????

I say 03 cobra would win. Back when I had my 03, it was a bone stock convertable, right down to the stock eagle f-1 tires. it ran 13.2-13.3's all day in 90 degree heat.
