I think JJ will give us what we want and knock it out of the park. No reason to judge this one based off the old one. They bring Lando back and thats huge.
The emperor is back.
Pieces of death star II have something to do with it.
1 was just aweful, shouldnt exist
2 wasnt much better
3 was the best of this saga
Solo was ok, glad we got a back story on solo. But not amazingly star warsy
Rogue one, i loved. It felt more star warsy than 1,2,3.
4 was epic
5 was incredible
6 was arguably the best of this saga
7 was ok, nothing spextacular, left us wanting more. I felt robbed.
8 was total garbage, should not exist. I feel the same about 8 that joy bahr feels about trump.
9 - will be the best of this saga.

JJ's only talent is his ability to shamelessly rip-off Lucas and Spielberg and somehow get praised for being such a hack.

Empire was, is and will always be the best SW film ever made period.

I will definitely watch this one. It looks to be interesting and full of action, which is what I mainly want. I won't see it in a theater, though. I'll watch it on my home theater system.
The first one ~1977 was good but when you look back the special effects were terrible. Then all the muppet shit showed up. Now the forced female shit with a mix of race thrown in for good SJW measure.

In 1977 the special FX were ground breaking technology that had never been done before. I would rather have 1977 FX over CGI anyday and 3 times on sunday.

Sorry, but Star Wars holds up even today. Watch it back to back with Episode 1 and you'll understand.
Got to disagree. If anything it’s the added cgi to the original trilogy that doesn’t hold up very well.
Bingo! Thats the difference between us the original generation, with the new sw fan generation.
