Things to do in West Los Angeles

So I finish college in a couple days and will be traveling a little bit before I start looking for a real job. I am visiting my sister and her husband in west LA and I want some suggestions if you got any. So far , all I have planned out is a Dodgers game and a brewery tour. I will be in Santa Monica for 4-5 days to be exact....I want to do some fun stuff besides getting hammered with my sisters husband.

Plenty to do on the sunset strip. You can also go check out staples center. they built a lot of cool shops and restaurants in that area. The espn zone is pretty sweet.If you want to see the hottest chicks walking the planet in bikinis, drive south to manhattan beach and hang out near the main pier. Bring a lawn chair and drool the rest of the afternoon.

There's Irwindale Speedway on Thursday's..1/8 track.

-Street races anywhere..just don't get caught..I don't know if the races on 135th and Main in compton still go down..I know of more if your interested on that stuff.
-Like Kanibus said Manhattan Beach is the beach to go to...
-If you would have came last week it was the Surf Comp at Huntington Beach..Free concerts and stuff...weezer was there.
-You have to hit Hollywood blvd on the weekend..go bar hopping and such. You'll see a lot of fine females..
- STAY AWAY FROM WEST HOLLYWOOD. That's gay central..
-There's theme parks everywhere..I heard Ranging Waters is the place to be this weekend..
-Meet some bishes and go to a house party..I bet...wait you know what scratch the house party..I don't want to hear you ended up dead.
-Don't leave your car out at night if you go to South Central, Compton, or any of the surrounding areas.
-If you want to see little mexico go to East Los. Go to Ceasar Chavez blvd this place will be on the left..bomb food though..
-Maybe go to Catalina Island..there's a fary that that takes you out there and back the same day for like 30 bucks.
-Hit some Casino's if you want..maybe Pechanga..
-Go to a strip club called "Nicholas" in East Los..lol just go trust me.lol or Chicos.lol
-Ummm..Dodger game you have down already..that is fun just drink a lot.
-If you can IF you can get a party bus from LA to San Diego to go bar hopping and back..this is probably the best idea I have wrote down already.
-Smoke some of our weed..just not too much, your virgin lungs aren't use to our shitty air and crazy weed..
-Drive carefully. No one give's a f*** over here.
-DO NOT go for a walk at a park at night...

That's all I can think of right now..excuse my typing I don't care at the moment.

Area is a good club to go to.

Try Rama Genie hookah. Then go get a tattoo at atomic. then go to the VIP strip club. Also, you have to cruse up and down hollywood BLVD and Sunset blvd on hte weekends. It always ends up being worth it lol. I've never done that and gone home dissapointed (if i end up going home that night).

I lived in Long Beach for a couple of years. Wife and I vacation in the LA area whenever possible. Here are some recommendations beyond West LA.

* Manhattan Beach
* Redondo Beach (go to Joe's for breakfast and get John Wayne Special)
* Long Beach (lots to do there)
* Drive along PCH (Pacific Coast Highway)
* Santa Monica Pier
* Marina de Rey (near Santa Monica)
* Venice Beach (great for people watching)
