So I put the 18” SVE series 2 wheels on the Mach but I cannot stand the tire sizes I went with. Tires were so hard to find at the time and was paying attention to width, not sidewall height

Front are 255/35/18
Rear are 285/3018

Rear looks like some low rider bs with the short sidewall, nice 3 finger gap

So far looking at either another set of falkens or R888R in 255/40/18 and 275/35/18 which would be the closest to stock rolling diameter but not thrilled about a slightly skinnier tire.

Can you run say a 305 on a 10” wheel and not look funny/bulge? I have a dedicated drag pack, this is mainly street and maybe auto cross

Car makes high 600s so definitely looking at around 200 tread-wear options

I like a 285/35 rear but god dammit nobody makes a drag radial in that size. Only think keeping me from going 18's. Closest I can find is a 275/35 R888R

I did something similar, back-n-da-day, with my '03 Cobra...

Except, I swapped out ONLY the OE rear wheels/tires for SVE 18x10 & retained the OE 17x9 & 275/40R17 tire size up front.
Stock/original springs/struts/shocks

At the time, I went with new set of updated tread-design Goodyear Eagle F1 front/rear [discontinued]:
REAR 295/35R18
FRONT [OE] 275/40R17
Strangely, the new/updated tread-design Goodyear Eagle F1 tire in 275/40r17 was actually WIDER than the OE tread-design Eagle F1 275/40r17 tire.

Pics to give you an idea of my setup back then...

255 is too narrow for a 9" wheel
285 is borderline too narrow for a 10" wheel

Your best bet would be 265 or 275/35 up front
305 or 315/35 or 40 out back.
