My wife and I our moving to a 55 and over community that only allows two vehicles per household. So with my wife’s car, I can only bring one vehicle but own two . A 92 F 250 w/ 79460 miles in mint shape and the 07 Shelby

What I’ve come up with since I also at times need a truck is to sell both and get a low mileage gen II lighting.

Ok, about my car.

It’s a 07 Torch red with stripes and red inserts shaker 500. I’m the second owner more or less.Has a kenwood navigation unit in it and three gauges and a shift light.

have a boost gauge and a/f gauge than a Ngauge that monitors IAT2s, volts, engine temp and vehicle speed.

have hood struts, JLT Painted radiator cover and valve covers painted blue. Also have ford racing caps for bling along with a chrome cover with a snake on it for the fuse box. Also have the painted strut bar that matches the paint

suspension/ wheels***

shelby cs-14 9.5x20 front/11x20 rear (have two sets of rear rims) bought through CJ pony

full size spare from automotive authority

brand new MPSS 275x35x20 front. 315x30x20 rear

ford racing shocks and springs lowered

LCA’s

adj rear panhard bar

braking***

2019 red 6 piston “bullet” brembos up front with 15” rotors
rear are 13-14 GT 500 rear brakes.

engine and transmission rear end ***

c/s 3” radiator brand new
afco heat exchanger with fans and relatively new pump
larger coolant tank for intercooler
brand new alt
VMP 3 supercharger
2.6 pulley (I think)
VMP 67 TB
JLT CAI
1000ID’s injectors
custom fuel rails
jlt oil catch cans
kooks long tube headers
08 Crank pulley
3 set of mufflers 1)borla touring 2)ford racing KR 3)OEM
tuned and all work done at VMP
dynoed at 770rwhp
L/M cams
boost a pump
170 t stat.
all new timing chains, tensioners, seals for valve covers ans timing covers when cams were installed
stock clutch, transmission and rear end with 331 gears
1 piece alum driveshaft @ 900hp

I had for almost three years Toyo R888’s on the car Which is inferring I don’t abuse it, drag it or race it.

Again i run a OEM clutch . No issues

paint and interior is a 9 out of10 less the drivers seat which is barely showing it’s age

miles are about 84500

thanks for your input

don

Find a different 55+ community which isnt strict. Or just rent a storage unit and house the 3rd unit in it.

‘that’s what I was thinking but if I got a mint low mileage RED GenII lighting I be ok with one vehicle.

wife never liked the looks of the my 92 F 250. I think it’s gorgeous

Have a 30 x 10 storage unit to park the Shelby inside but wife doesn’t now like the idea of this “old” truck sitting outside and paying $450 mth for the storage shed

Can’t trade her in, 42 years invested, anyway wouldn’t get much for her anyway LMAO

Also on a personal note, I checked every night for responses and with other forms an alert is given when someone responds to your thread, but I did not get any alerts from you responding to my thread so I didn’t even check the thread. Hence forth the delayed response. Next time I’ll be more diligent!

That’s a bad ass truck! Both of those things are awesome. I understand what you mean. The Gen II Lightning would be an awesome truck all around and fun to play with.

He is me, Don! LOL

I asked a question on Saturday about a 2007 supercharged Shelby GT (not GT500). These fine gents (@CobraBob , etc.) provided feedback. I'm not necessarily in the market, just wanted something new (to me) to putt around in. Was there a price listed?

too funny. My bad

This is the reason for this post but so far no one has given me a ballpark number.

what I can say is the car has NEVER been beaten on or abused. You don’t get three years out of Toyo 888r’s and Keep a OEM clutch still strong if you beat on it.

I think a stock version in very well kept condition is worth around $20,000 to $25000.

‘’I know you get Pennie’s on the dollars for mods but with rims, suspension, braking and engine mods, I’m coming close to$30000 easy.

Im thinking the car is worth as is in the $30 to $35000 range

Look at me trying to play match maker☺️.
Shelby GT’s are cool & they indeed have the CSM number. I know a local guy that has one and loves it.
I’ve followed @shelbygt500_897hp ‘s car for some years & it is what he says it is. Very nice & well modded but not beat on.
Whoever gets Don’s car will get a damn good one.
Edit: Don I just saw the 30 -35k range value you stated. It’s very well worth all of that without question.

I have a comparably modded 2008, minus headers and cams, with 56k miles in above average condition. If I was forced to sell, $30-35k would be my asking price. I am not a car market watcher, but I feel you have reasonable expectations of the value of your car to someone who knows what they are getting.

I have $30k+ in aftermarket performance part and tuning receipts, so buy the mods and get the car for free! But mine is NOT for sale.

Thank you so much cool cobra, I really appreciate the kind words and the accolades on the car. The car is sweet and I keep on adding to my list because I keep on forgetting all the stuff I’ve done to the car. I just added the 08 crank pulley to the list along with LCA’s and a mini full size spare from automotive authority And a carroll Shelby imitation signature that looks like the real deal.

wanted to sell the truck first but may end up,putting this officially for sale soon
