Thats sad news, I was hoping the TVS would whine like the Eaton and like my KB 2.2 on my 04 Cobra did. I've heard some videos on youtube that you can really hear it mainly on the GT500 guys who are running a TVS 2.3 but seems most videos I've found for the 5.0's they aren't very loud. Wonder if boost has anything to do with it, maybe the more boost the louder?

I have a tvs on my 03 cobra, the whine is nearly the same as when I had the eaton with a 2.8 pulley. Seems it varies from car to car.

At first I thought the lines went up in increments of 1 thinking it was between 9 and 10 pounds of boost which would be fine. Then I looked closer and saw it was at increments of 5... That doesn't seem right but then again I no diddly squat compared to Starkey himself.

Ya, Justin is obviously 100 times smarter than me at tuning, I just know my gauge doesn't fluctuate even close to that much throughout the rpms.

Stage 2 VMP TVS, 82mm w/ 47lb Injectors + BAP, JLT CAI, Dual 60mm TB, Offroad X-Pipe....I made 564/496 on a Dynojet on my 3rd run. First two runs were less as the tech said my clutch was slipping a bit since it wasn't warmed up yet, engine didn't have much chance to cool down though. between the runs. I'm seeing around 9-9.5 peak PSI here in Ohio.

I really would like to hit mid 600's and call it a day, so I recently switched over to E85 w/ ID1000's. Car definitely runs smoother on the corn but I haven't noticed much different in power, I'll be following up with some logs for Justin to see how it's looking soon.

Wow you should notice a big difference in power with E85. At least I did. I could never get the Knock out of the 91 tune. So I was always pulling timing.

Looking at a used 13 A6 with the roush 540 kit but skittish on pulling the trigger if it's a ticking time bomb, what rwhp should it be making?
