Bap with wire upgrade
JLT high boost with stock meter and mafia set at 2
afco dual pass
ford racing diff cover
M&M IRS bushings
full length subs
Lund will tune it when it's done.
Simple reliable power. No this is not a knock on the TVS as it is a great blower but for my needs more TQ was not needed and I figured i'd give Kenne Bell a shot this time around.

Eventually, you'll go looking for more power and tq I'll bet.......But that is a nice set up as well......simple.

It would be nice to include a discussion in blower RPM instead basing the comparison solely on boost level.

For every blower that I have worked with, a 3.5-4.0" upper and stock lower will be lazy in comparison to another blower running a 2.5-3.0" upper.

Put a 4.5" upper on a 4.0L Whipple and make 21psi, and compare it to a 2.3L TVS running a 2.6" upper and make 21psi. It's almost a given that the average torque is going to the smaller 2.3L blower.

7.5/4.5 x 5252RPM = 8,753 blower RPM
7.5/2.6 x 5252RPM = 15,150 blower RPM

Assuming both have an 18,000 RPM max rating...

8753/18000 = 48% efficiency
15150/18000 = 84% efficiency

Of course the smaller blower will make more average torque in cases like this.
