I see a straight axle in the second picture also, you can also see the rear sway bar and coil overs. Maybe he was just showing what his set up looked like off anothers car 
Hey guys you are correct about pic # 2, i forgot that was a picture i had saved from another cobra that had basically the same setup as me, except he had a sold axle and also an automatic.

They hook great, a lot better then the BFG 315 DR's that i had on it.
