I need to replace a seized Gen 2 (non-R) on my 2010 and have basically decided on a Gen-II R or an OEM 13/14 TVS.
I'm curious as to the power difference between these two, as I believe the original Gen 2 had a slight advantage, but I know there are users out there making 650 whp pretty easily with the 13/14.
Are we talking 10-20 hp or more like 50+ difference between these two? I'm not a huge fan of putting a big "5.8" on top of a 5.4, but I may be able to get the 13/14 quite a bit cheaper.
Also, I'm running 52/56# injectors, so if the Gen-II R is enough added power that I'd need to upgrade to 80# or something to be safe, I'd definitely take that into consideration.
My mods are pretty basic: Stock exhaust, 67mm VMP TB, JLT 123mm, 52/56# injectors, & VMP BAP's.
