Weekend Plans?

I'm hoping to get away from work a little early on Friday and I'll be headed to my buddy Dan's annual benefit in the Wisconsin Dells.

Fall Cruise For A Cause

I encourage anybody that can attend to put it on yer calendar. 1st full weekend of October every year. I dropped the ball by not promoting this earlier but I hope to meet some of y'all at this event, if not this year, maybe next.

I'm there every year, but don't let that stop you from attending.

Going to see the original movie Bullitt today at 2pm on the big screen.

Just found out the other day this company Fathom Events shows classic movies at select theaters on certain days, and Bullitt is playing today at a theater about 45 minutes away from my house, more towards Boston.

6 of us going, then go out to eat after.

I looked at that truck for 20 minutes...at Woodward that’s saying something!

I was there too and saw it, but I also had the pleasure of doing two days of open track at Gingerman Raceway a couple of days before woodward, and Gateway was there with this truck and two mustangs. that truck absolutely screwed around the track, and sounded awesome.

Gateway also had it at the all Ford show at Ford HQ the day after woodward.

I'll probably clean up the inside of the truck today. It's not filthy, but it's dirty and bothering me.
While I'm at it, I'll clean the wheels, inner and outter.

Wife and I went up to her parents for the weekend and went to the Apple Harvest festival. Later on we went to our normal hangout for a few drinks.

Friday/Saturday trip up north. My ten year old and I walked the woods and scoped out hunting spots. Climbing a double tree stand for a great vantage point. Nature is hard at work, most ignoring our presence. Chipmunks everywhere, the true comedians of the forest. The highpoint was our first sighting of a Fisher. The Fisher darted through the woods like a Ninja! We witnessed about a 100 yard display. We found a adult Garder snake, painted turtle that hissed when picked up, spotted salamander, first black squirrel I ever seen up north, several very healthy grays, and no less then 50 deer. Discovered an old "papple" tree with less then ten apples. Papples taste between a pear and an apple. Great weather for hiking!

Saturday is a long list of outdoor shit I gotta get done since it's rained for the last 10 days and last weekend I was outta town. I'm gonna get the grass cut tomorrow after work to get a head start on everything.

I haven't decided yet whether or not I'm going with my car club on the end of the season cruise to a winery on Sunday. I may just relax and watch the Talladega race.
