Yes according to ford it gets alluminum block and a small bump to 550hp

I work for a Ford dealer and I have the new order guide for the 2011 Shelby. Al block for 2011 , electric power assist ,optional performance package includes 3:73 , different front and rear springs and shocks and different al 19" wheels and diff stripes. And optional Glass Roof.

no one owns the GT350 name, niether ford or shelby can own it. there was some court ruling i think years ago. thats why there was know new GT350 an they called it a shelby GT. but your right they do own the GT500.
