That's pretty crazy. Do you keep one in the trunk just in case? Some pictures showing how fast I go through belts with a carbinite coated upper pulley. I'm sure I could get more life out of it, but it sure feels flimsy compared to the new one. This one has only about 600 miles on it. I always figured changing the belt once a year. But it might be twice, lol.

LoL no but maybe I should. They would last longer if I kept my foot off the go pedal. That's pretty crazy. Do you keep one in the trunk just in case?

This is one reason I've thought about doing a lower. I'm always cleaning the belt dust off after every drive.

That's exactly what I've been looking for. Hard to find.I’d try and find a caged lower if you do.

Jay, I've used a couple gates and dealt with a cold start up chirp. I may have to go back to that as it did produce less dust.

Well I just put a gates HD belt back on. Chirp still there on cold start up. But I can live with that, way less belt dust and boost is holding.Good I wouldn’t live on the edge without one running the boost you run. Maybe try a gates RPM belt? I run gatorback due to cold start chirps with gates.

I had micro v gates. Lasted for 2 years. Been chasing my tail with a squeak. Thought it was idlers and it ended up being the belt. But the bullet and bought a 130 dollar gates rpm which is a super nice belt. I must have been having belt slip cause the car runs smoother and revs quicker. My opinion worth the moneyThat's exactly what I've been looking for. Hard to find.

I've thought about trying one. It seems I have better luck with a 74.5" belt. I tried a normal gates 75" belt yesterday and it was slipping bad. I could hear the belt squealing bad and boost was down.I had micro v gates. Lasted for 2 years. Been chasing my tail with a squeak. Thought it was idlers and it ended up being the belt. I've heard you want less tension on the rpm belt, so maybe the 75" on that would work. I can adjust the tension because I'm running a whipple adjustable auxiliary idler. Maybe I can back it way off with the rpm belt.
Edit:. Just ordered a RPM belt, worth a try. If it doesn't work for me I'll be trying to sell a like new rpm belt. What size did you need that it cost 130? Rock Auto was 58 bucks shipped.

At least you know now that if you buy a new one you won't have to pay $130. I thought it was a typo when I saw the price. Where did you buy it?K080780RPM.
They didn't start selling till September first I pre-ordered one. No one else was selling them yet. ...
