How do these all compare to something like a 555RII? I recently bought a set of big sidewall RII's in a 275 to fix my 15x10 rear and I'm wondering how that loss of tire width translates to putting power down. My street tires are 315 Azenis on 18x11's and I just blow them off all over the place.
I know first hand those tires are the cars pajamas. Got the same 255/55/15 on Blueballs. And 275/35/17 on the saw blades C4 corvette. Sleeper as hell. RII’s are amazing

Hell yeah, that's what I like to hear. I'm excited to actually get the car situated and out on them.

Gotta fix a liiiiitle exhaust leak on the driver's longtube header first unfortunately.

I like my R2s. 315/35/17. They seem to hook well enough on the street at 550-600w. I’m going E85 and will be over 650w and plan to run them still. We will see how they go.

I was originally going to get the 555RII as I've run the old school 555R in the past and had good luck. But my OCD wouldn't let me run two different brand tires and my fronts still have life in them.

Pulled the EGR on my Terminator today, kept the OEM unit completely intact. turned out great!

I assumed I’d have to have the tune modified, but so far it appears the original tune turned off the EGR CEL. We’ll see after a bit of driving if it stay off. Still looking for a Dragon TB and Plenum if anyone has one, hoping to get this before my next retune.

Took it one step further and deleted the PCV system. Welded up the intake tube. I’ve ordered a blue filter for the intake and blue/black breather filters.

I have a set of aviator valve covers I’m going to weld an AN fitting into and then I’ll run a remote breather under the passengers side fender, but this will do for now. I’m still trying to decide what color I want the valve covers to be.

Well this was a pain in the butthole. Everything is torqued down. Need to install the rear brakes, install the fender liners in the front, install catback, put wheels on, lower it to the ground and then remove the blower to fix the small leak. Almost ready to load the E85 tune and see how it starts. I’m hoping within 2-3 weeks it will be running again.

I got lucky today. I decided to swap over to the drag radials and I found the inside of the passenger tire a little tore up. The offending area has already been clearanced with a ball peen hammer. But glad I found this before I went ripping with my friends again.

Nice new mods. Getting ready for Spring!!!

Wont be long now. These are last min purchases. The shop will have it wrapped up by the end of this month. It's getting ARH longtubes, K member and 3.1 upper pulley for the VMP. Currently has a 3.3 but I want to see what it does on the dyno with longtubes torco and 3.1.

Lady friend took ol girl to get washed. Then she’s going into the garage and under the knife this week. Lucky me it’s my birthday next week so I took some time off for a cabin. That got snowed out, so I guess I’ll be a mechanic for my birthday and put some parts on.
