Started with getting my new wheels fitted on Friday. I’m kicking myself for not going with a wider tire in the rear. Had a 315/35r17 now it’s 295/35r18. It’s not that bad but it’s noticeable. Oh well, ima roll with it for now.

Then this happened. It’s a whole other can of worms now. Lol

Wish I had a magnum to put in it. But just the clutch, again. I had put a centerforce DF in it a couple years ago. I wasn’t to happy with it. And I recently been having other issues that are related to that clutch install. Now I’m giving a McLeod super street pro a try. Waiting on a few more parts I didn’t realize I was gonna need.

Finished up the rest of the paint, and rotors, and pads gents. Will be cleaning all of the suspension and such up next. The springs will be done soon enough. Hoping this week, fingers crossed. Exhaust is all done as well, tips still need to come up just a smidge for it to be where I want it. Other than that it’s going great! Since I don’t post on YouTube or even know how for that matter, those of you gents who I have their number got sent the videos of her running and some revs.

@CobraBob you know black cars are a pain to keep clean. However I always make sure mine are mint, even took a photo of my white cobra off the reflection on my door just for you bud! Had to clean her up, she got a little dusty being covered while painting. Such a cool feeling to walk outside and see two of these bad ass machines. Thanks for all the support and help along the ways boys.

I've grown tired of my steeda catback and decided to switch it up and grabbed a used Magnaflow. Originally I was going to just install it last weekend as is because it was only slightly brown, then I had the dumb idea of hitting it with a sander and 220 grit. The stainless immediately cleaned up and looked fresh again. I thought to myself this will only take an hour or two to look good again. Approximately 6 hours later and after hitting it with 80, 100, 150, 220, 320, 400, 600, 1000, 1500, and 2000 grit sand paper I was done.

The Magnaflow is quieter than the Steeda which is what I wanted but still has a little drone, but I'm keeping it. I'm now I'm on the hunt for a set of SLP tips. I called SLP and they told me something about how they got new databases and some of the old parts aren't updated. They had the parts but didn't know the prices so they'd have to take my name down and email me later when their system got fixed. I know my boss would fire me if I told someone I couldn't sell them our product with out a computer.

The most frustrating part of the whole deal is the first catback I ever had on my car was a used Magnaflow that came off my SB car. I spent a weekend polishing it then added SLP tips. I switched to a used Borla Stinger setup and I could hardly give the old Magnaflow away, the guy that bought it actually bought it to cut it up for a custom project. After the Stingers I bought the Steeda, and am now back full circle where I was years ago. Just out a little more money and a lot of labor sanding.

Thanks for taking that photo, Dan. Beautiful Cobras! Man, talk about reflection. That black paint looks incredibly flawless.

This is why I love the exhaust modes on my GT500, in track mode it’ll make ears bleed but in normal it’s reasonable and in quiet it’s well… quiet.

Shame there isn’t a system for our cars to truly select the volume. I’ve done cut outs on other cars and it’s definitely not the same.

It's all good, Dan. No need to apologize for posting more than one photo. LOL. It's all good! Those wheels, by the way, are perfect with the black paint.

Now what you need is a nice aspartic garage floor coating like Brad's. A beautiful pair of Cobras need a beautiful floor to rest on. All kidding aside, it's really worth the initial expense. I had mine done 2 years ago. Nice looking and very easy to clean.
