What percentage of SVTP prefers the sn95s looks to the S197?

I disagree. Compare the 03-04 Cobra to the 07-09 Shelby and the Cobra looks mean! The Shelby's look ok for an S197, the Saleens look far better. But a lowered 96-98 Cobra grabs more attention than the Shelby and I would say it's on par with 03-04 Cobra because the 03-04 Cobra rear is awesome.

C5Z is inferior to the C6Z in every category EXCEPT looks.

94-04's are the best looking mustangs so far. too bad they don't have the suspension handling abilities of the 2011+

but I couldn't drive an s-197, the front end looks like it's crying, and the 2010 rear ends look it got rammed by a dump truck, and the taillights look euro to me.

I see what you mean with the crying and the rear end getting rammed by a dump truck. The taillights are a plus imo.

I wasn't trying to. I just wanted to compare the two platforms overall. Interestingly enough, the majority are able to see past the modern accessories, more power and the glam of newer cars to say that they like the sn-95s more.

Never had good luck with sn95 5.0s. I do like the s197 better as a car.

Well the S197s ARE better cars no doubt about it. Better chassis, better drivetrain, more room in the cockpit and trunk. But I'm more so referring to looks specifically.

As far as interior i could say the same. I cant stand the 05-09 dash it looks too plain for me. The 94-02 cupholders suck if it is a m5

sn95 (more so 99-04, but do love the 94-95 a lot) all the way. i was never fully sold on the 05-09, but when the 10's came out. complete win. so if someone put my dream sn95 and dream '11 in front of me, id have a hard time picking.

Generally speaking, I prefer sn95 to s197, here is my more detailed breakdown:

'03/'04 Cobra > '10-'12+ S197 > '03/'04 Mach 1 > '99-'01 Cobra > '94-'98 Cobra

I've always preferred the New Edge styling myself.

IMHO...

'99-'01 Cobra >'10-'12+ S197 (especially Shelby), 03/'04 Cobra>'94-'98 Cobra>'03/'04 Mach 1

Then again anyone of them looks much better than a Camaro.

From what I can tell, people seem to pick the cars that they have had or do have. Lots more SN-95 (94-98 & 99-04) on this site than 05+, hence the huge bias in the poll.

Ehh. Mystichromes don't really draw that much attention. Compare to an 02 Saleen S281 extreme (preferably red or orange) you'll get alot of attention

The new cars are great looking, but they do look a bit chunky. SN95s take the cake for me. Maybe because I've been driving some kind of SN95 variant for almost the past 10 years of my life though. They just feel 'right' to me.

Im not sure but I dont think 360 forged used anything other than C6Z's. I just know I for sure prefer the looks of the C5Z over the base C5/C6.
