What to do first, tint windows or order cdc light bar

Just curiouse what you guys would do first?
Budget providing I am only going to be able to do 1 of the 2 this year as I've already dropped a few bucks on my girl for upgrades (CAI, lower pulley kit 8lb, tuner, mgw shifter, Bassani exhaust from manifolds, alternator pulley.)
Exhaust is done, just waiting for the alternator pulley to arrive then I will be booking an appt. to have everything else installed then straight to the dyno.

So if I can do 1 of the 2 before this season ends which one?
It's a black 03 vert.
Tint all windows is quoted at 325 and that's a simple drop off for the day

CDC light bar is 399 plus shipping plus finding and paying someone to do the install

What's your thoughts?

light bar, hands down. It should have come from the factory that way.

Expensive as hell for the tint job BUT that is what I woud do first, hopefully he is not the only tint shop close to you

The light bar will change the look of the car. If you were in a southern state I would say window tint. Btw, CDC will make you a non-branded light bar, just call them to order it.

I just bought my first cobra the other day and my mods are somewhat close to you but the first thing I'm going to do with is tint the windows. I can't stand not having tinted windows for some reason it drives me nuts. But like stated before that price is a litte steep for window tinting.

Agree, verts just aren't the same without the light bar. There both getting done, but one is financially easier to do first...

I agree. Light bar will complete that convertible look when the top is down. Thanks for the info, when time comes I will call them for the non-branded!

in my opinion , Tints are a waste of money on Verts.....since when the top is down all the windows are down anyways. At least that's how I drive.......

^^^ exactly. i dont take mine out without the top down. now mine is not a daily so i have that option but tint would be virtually useless on my car (i do have it though). light bar hands down, transforms the look completely

Not a light bar fan personally. Doesn't fit the lines of the car.

Tint is nice to keep a little sun off interior while parked.

Good point, mine is not a daily driver either and 90% of the time the top is down. I think my decision has been made!

I paid $140 for my tints lol. I guess CT has low prices, because all of my MA buddies played close to $300 and I thought they were getting raped. IMO, tints literally changed the look of my car. Styling bars look awesome on Verts though, I would prob choose the light bar.

Light bar, I've done lots of different mods in my day, but I've never saw a mod that changed the appearance of a car like a light bar. (besides wheels obviously)
