Switching to e85 was one of the best mods I've done.
As far as having to change oil more frequently, if running a good quality synthetic oil you shouldn't have to. I run Amsoil ss 10w30 and change oil once a year. But I only put about 800-1000 miles a year. Hopefully more this year.

I also change oil once a year and put about 2k on it. I sent a sample in this last change and there was less than 1% fuel dilution. You could definitely smell the fuel in the oil and expected the dilution to be greater. I also run ams oil 5w30.
In the marauder we went from consistent 1.54 60's to 1.45 60's with just the fuel change from VP MS103 race gas. Timing curve the same. I'm estimating 750 rwhp thru a 4r70w with a 3.4 whipple at about 24psi. I run a big external pump and Injector Dynamics 1300 -8 feed -6 return.
I built another marauder with a YSi at 26 psi with 1300 ID's and Aeromotive Eliminator pump it makes between 750 and 800. Runs 10.0's at 4400lbs.
I fill up 2, 30 gallon drums when I go to the station and stabilize it with lucas e85 treatment. I test it before I fill like GNBrett. But if its just gonna be cruised in the summer I don't test. The drums are basically fuel for racing in the late fall and early spring. And the 30 gallon drums are easier to handle full. I have an Excursion so they fit in the back of that too.
