Yes I know my mentality is ass backwards. I am actually working out with other people now who are helping to motivate me on the right track.

Your mentality isn’t ass backwards. Your legs should be much much stronger than your upper body and it sounds like it’s a favorite body part to workout. The key is to bring that same intensity you do on leg day, to all the other body parts as well. If you can do this, you’ll see some amazing results. Keep hitting your legs just as hard as you have been, just make sure you’re hitting the rest of your upper body with the same if not more intensity. Party on

Good thread.

Last night was chest/triceps/core for me and the gf. Both of us are starting to be able to hit PR's without issue which is amazing. Gotta work on cardio and be more consistent with it.
The part that gets me is seeing the scale go from 218 down to 211.5 and losing about an inch or two in waist size

Tried some shadow boxing but the rib cage would have none of it. From what I read the recuperation period is 6-8 weeks and it's only been five. So I opted for walking/sprinting/stationary bike for 60 minutes with a set of pushups. The fast snapping of jabs and motion of uppercuts are not what my rib cartilage is ready for yet.

Last workout was yesterday, ran 13.2 on a treadmill at the ymca. No crazy pace, did it in 1:40. Sweat through 2 full outfits. Last Saturday I ran 16 in 2 hours even. I only lift 2 times a week, and it’s mostly chest and arms. I run 5 days a week (5-8 miles on avg) and cycle the other two days. Cardio is a huge stress reliever for me.

In 12 mins 50lb DB Squats/BF Burpees in this patteren:
1-1
2-2
3-3
4-4
...
10-10

Then max Clean if you have any time left in that 12 mins.

Just recently adding a bad 15lbs I was slow so my score was not too good.

I'll be doing 18.2 at some point this week. What'd you get?

Today is a 12 min amrap:
12 chest to bar PU
9 135 thrusters
35 double unders

11:15 and 195lbs. Very disappointed. The added 15lbs of fat from Christmas has slowed me down. I was hoping for 10mins and 210-220lbs.
