Back in the 80s and 90s when I was deadlifting and powercleaning and everyone said it did more harm than good and I was killing myself I ignored them like I am very adept at doing and did deadlifts on leg day. One of the greatest workouts I used to do back then was two sets of squats to absolute failure(15-20 reps), two sets of powercleans to failure(8-10 reps) and then two sets of deadlifts to failure(4-6 reps). It would leave me wasted and pumped for like 3 days. Ah, the old days....How come you don’t do your deads on back day? Not critiquing you just curious.
