Please reply only if you have or had ID1000 or ID1050X on E85.

I would like to know how much power the ID1050x injectors can handle on E85. My car will be around 830whp after finished.
I was told to buy the ID1300x but I already bought the ID1050x and I cant return it anymore so I want to know if the id1050x injectors will be enough for 830whp-850 .

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I believe it will run on stock 2013 fuel pumps with VMP dual BAPs. Max RPM I'm not sure yet and boost might be around 19-20 psi.
My mod list is:
E85
2.3 TVS ported by BPS
2.4 upper 10% lower pulleys
XBA emlbow
168mm KenneBell TB
148mm JlT Cai or PMAS 149mm Cai
Kooks 1 7/8 Long Tuber
Kooks offroad X pipe
Super 44 flows

You better plan to build the motor, 830-850 RWHP is just asking to window the block.

thats pretty much the same setup I had with my 2012 TVS combo. It will be enough for 850hp on E85 but thats about it as ur hitting the ceiling there.

BAP with 850hp? hell no! not even with two of em. boost aint gonna be anywhere near 19 or 20 more like 14 or 15.

and if this on the stock block and stock internals u will be picking up ur rods off the hi way very shortly and it will likely take out ur crank and destroy ur block.

yea I know joe blow did it with his car but u will absolutely melt ur motor at those levels on stock internals.

The 830-850whp number was just a guess. I have seen some 13-14 shelbys hit 800whp without porting the blower. I believe the 11/12 shelbys have a different fuel pump. VMP says 13/14 stock dual fuel pumps with their dual BAPs will handle up to 850whp.
Here is s video of a 13 with 801WHP on stock fuel pumps and same setup i mentioned. *19psi.
( shows the shelby's dyno at the end of the video)

bro anytime ur making that much HP ur playing with a grenade with BAP's. and ur motor is terribly expensive to replace. not worth it.

So what should I do? I wont get my motor built now. I will be happy with 800whp. I also have a 2.9 whipple but i decided to keep the TVS because of its torque

Dual Fore 465's with dual hat is what I would do and I'm sure most would tell u the same. I think u can hold off on the 1300's if 800 is ur goal and thats a LOT!

I wouldn't push for 800 rwhp unless you're financially prepared to pay $20k+ to rebuild if it grenades. I'm currently @760 RWHP on my 14 and want to add cams badly, but this would easily put me over the 800 RWHP mark. I will eventually get my cams but not before I go w/ a return style fuel system running e85 and beef up the motor to handle that power.

I have to agree, 800+whp and your asking for trouble, my 13 GT500 with a 3.6 KB and E85 made 827whp but I never shifted over 6k and I was never hard on the car, if you want to try and push big power on stocks rods keep your RPMs low.

What injectors and fuel pump do you have?

He ran a KB 20 amp BAP, ID1300's and a Canton fuel filter. I was looking to go E85 and from the responses I got that's about the minimum you want to run. Most recommended a complete return style fuel system.

Let’s word it this way

Would you rather spend a little money now and have fuel headroom, and maybe lower the hp goals now, or buy a very expensive rebuild later?

That would be alot hitting 830-850 rwhp with those Mods. If you are then you will be beyond the Timing Id ever want to run even on E85.

Back it down and go to a return fuel system. If you dont its only a matter of time before you dump serious Cash on a rebuild. Just be careful!

Stock fuel system with 1050x injectors and BAP will hit 800rwhp on E85.
The key that was mentioned was a Canton filter. My tuner was hitting a limit at 800 and only changing to the Canton filter let him be more comfortable at 830-840 than stock filter at 800.
Point is, don't forget the filter upgrade.
Order direct from Canton and ask for fittings to be direct bolt in for Ford lines.
I'll be installing a full Fore system next weekend and will have KB comp BAP and the correct filter for sale soon.

Correct. I hit 965rwhp on same combo and borderline safe for street/strip but I'd never recommend that. For anything above 800-850rwhp it can be done on E85 but you'll eventually want return.
What tires are you running?
Best idea is to tune it safe and get used to it at 750-800rwhp and then consider pushing the tune.
