What's the most boost you'd run on 11:1 & E85?

When I start looking at the 8-rib upgrade, then I start thinking about the 3.6, then my budget goes to hell! LOL! I think the hot ticket is to buy a complete 3.6, then sell off the 2.8 with all of the stuff I don't need as a complete kit. Maybe a $2500 overall cost. See, it gets out of control quickly! LOL!

I have a stock block and I run 9.5-10lbs.... I don't want to go much more than that....even with E85

I'm not interested in the stock block/rotating assembly limitations. I'm more interested in "HIGH BOOST" and 11:1 CR limitations (if any) while running E85. Assume that the hardware is up to the task....

If I go with the 8-rib conversion, should I forego the OD crank pulley or should I do both?

You need the 8 rib setup more than you need a larger balancer. I don't run an oversize balancer, personally.

I've run 22 psi on my 11:1 Aluminator. No problems in 1.5 years.

^do you still run an ATI but stock size, or just keep the stocker? I can put that money toward the 8-rib conversion.

wow, so still the max 25 - 27psi I assume with a mega gasket like copper. if you were at 11:1 and on e85, I guess why not go to 12.5:1 on e85 and make the same power with less boost no sense in wasting fuel heating u the turbo when 12.5:1 is ready an able to put down the same cylinder pressures with less boost.

that would be insane however given that guys have made 1500HP on 19lbs. with 11:1 and gone 7's.

Update: I got the 11:1 Aluminator installed with TSS oil pump gears. Currently on a KB2.8LC setup with a 3.25" 6-rib pulley making 15#'s. It made 747/600 through the auto. I've put about 1,000 miles on it so far, so I will probably go ahead and order the 8-rib setup and pulley down to maybe a 3". I guess I could order a 2.75" at the same time. I'm also adding JBA 1-7/8" longtubes and off-road h, an aluminum DS and loop this week. I just had cat deletes before. I think I'll be pretty happy in the 800-850 range. I need to get this thing to the track next. Tentatively hitting up an 1/8th mile track in a couple of weeks.

I have a built motor 10,1 cr and the 15% ATI with the 3.5" pulley I see 16 psi. I have a 3" pulley for next tuning session

Are you talking about stock or built motor? SC or turbo? 12psi on a promod 94mm is not the same as 12psi on a paxton.
