I lived in Portland Oregon 3 years ago. Portland is at sea level as well but I only dropped about 0.5 PSI maybe in PHX on the same pulley

Those gains are very impressive!

What’s the consensus on these and the crank pulley? I know the 2.9 got a lot of hate for breaking caged lowers and crank snouts. @MalcolmV8 & Broke7

They claim it takes less power to run than any 2.9 so shouldn’t be an issue.

Any pics of the setup yet?
It's dirty but I was finally able to snap a couple shots for you. I need to clean it up a bit.

E85 dyno'ing is gonna have to wait a little longer. The trans was hurt before this but it is really making noise now. Luckily my magnum showed up this week so I need to get that installed before turning it up.

I know dynos can read differently but time and time again I see this:

OPs numbers: 587rwhp 18.5 psi on 91

My car tuned by AED: 591 @15PSI on 91. I’m sure the difference is timing. Shaun had 17.5 degrees in mine.

Op do you know what the timing was on 91 on 18.5 psi?

What brand dyno does AED use do you know? I think timing is around 20 on pump gas. I have done a couple pulls since taking the car home to swap the trans and according to my logs on my Haltech, boost start around 15.5 PSI and peaking at 16.5 - 16.8 PSI at 7500. My tuners dyno boost gauge is what was reading 18.5 PSI. Not really sure which to trust more but based on what whipple told me the 3.75 pulley should be closer to 16 PSI so that is the way I am kinda leaning.

Is this stock motor? If not what is the c/r?

This is a built motor, .020 over and 9.3:1 CR

20 degrees at 18 psi on 91 is a lot!

I’m at 23 degrees on E.

Dyno jet as far as I know.

I bought my Kenne Bell 2.8 for $3,600 not 3 months ago. It’s now listed at $4,200. Crazy times.

They have to hit the market harder and make up for Covid sales lol
Dont take care of the people.
Just like vehicles and homes have gone through the roof.
Worrying about everything else except our economy.
Thats why this country is imploding on itself.
Giving Arms and munitions to Ukraine vs taking what we left over Afghanistan and giving them that.
