This is silly - 99% of folks don't need, nor will ever effectively use more power than a TVS can provide, yet...

So why not just say it?

Cut or uncut?

7" good enough, or 12" for bragging rights?

:dancenana:

I'm more of a girthy man. Size where it counts, more go than show. What blower would that leave me with?

I could see laying a few pieces of bread on top of it making toast. Defintely looks like a non stick surface.

Dirty, for whatever reason, the rawness that is your sense of humor absolutely kills me.

Dinner is served. I like my toast burned.

I have had both types, Kenne Bell and now a Whipple. I loved my old school 2.2 KB on my Cobra. It screamed like no other can. :) Its pretty much personal preference.

Still not finished with the Whipple install.

KB does look quite girthy.

Well, I guess the TVS is out for me

It does kinda look like a BBQ grill.

Damn, this is a tough choice indeed.

If you get a kb let me know. I can give you a hand on the install.

I'm cheap labor, ask Nate. He has bought me plenty of beer and pizza

Hell yeah Zach. Thanks! I will definitely call on the vets when I upgrade. Sadly, it won't be for a little bit

so are we ever gonna see a straight up independent blower shootout? 2.8LC vs 2.9l, same car, same dyno, similar conditions(since it'll take time to swap one off and swap the other on). or 2.8LC vs 2.9l, 2 identical stock cars, back to back baseline stock dyno, then swap the blowers on and run back to back on the dyno, factoring in the difference between the stock baselines. log all the stats, IAT and the like.
someone make this happen, lets get some legit independent numbers out there! maybe van and lethal can sponsor this, along with a dyno shop. i'm sure it wouldn't be too much trouble to find a car or two to use.

When I make toast I like to save time and make at least 8 slices at a time...

Black- I like Whipple because it looks more "stock" and like it belongs there

Polished-KB, you can't beat a polished mirror on top of your motor, just have to change the pulley cause KB pulleys are hideous.

But power wise, I have to say Whipple, at least on 03/04, because the TQ number is so much higher with Whipple.
