Flew to Dayton Ohio in the fall of 2005 to pick up my cobra and drove back to Lubbock, TX(west tx). Drove to Gravette AR to stay with family one day and made it a 2 day cruise. By far the best drive I have ever had with sunny clear skies, mid 70s, windows down the whole time with a little AC/DC playing:rockon: Almost 1300 miles for the trip and the cobra had 2000 miles on it.

Picked up a rental from West Bend WI about 30 mins north of MKE. Then drove all night with a friend to Mooresville NC where I picked up my 2004 Cobra. Drove back the same day with my friend following me in the rental. Around 1900 miles round trip and little sleep haha. Driving back through the mountains in North Carolina and Tennessee was absolutely amazing.

Definitely not the farthest but picking up mine was a trek for a day. Me and a buddy left my place at 1:30am to drive to Oklahoma and pick up the cobra and turned right around and drove it back that day. 1154 miles later (round trip) I got back home with the car around 10:30pm.

Good god. I bought mine in Kentucky, and drove it back to Atlanta. Some 400 miles...and I thought THAT was a long day

Drove my 04 Mystichrome from central Illinois to NorCal. Was about 2400 miles in 3 days. By the middle of day 2, I hated life. It was lowered on H&R Race springs and you felt every single bump. The seats are great for spirited driving but not for long rides. My best friend made the drive with me but had just had Tommy John surgery on his right elbow, so I drove the whole way. Got almost 24mpg and endless memories. I didn't have anyone try anything until we were about 2 hours from our destination. A 11-12 5.0 threw some revs in traffic in the South Bay so we did a small 40-80 run before traffic. Race was dead even. Sold the car in December to get ahead financially and can't wait to get another. These cars are truly something special. I've never been in a car that could put such a smile on my face.

I drove from Atlanta to Texarkana and back to Atlanta in under 28 hours to pick up some beer, all for a bet! Which I won BTW! The cops were horrible that trip!

Did it twice...

Flew to Atlanta from Baltimore to pick up a sonic blue cobra near Ft. Benning. Drove the car back to MD. Funny story - the car had an aftermarket DVD player installed and I did not know how to work it. Kept hitting buttons and ended up playing the DVD that was left in the car. Yup, it was porn. LOL

Rented a car one-way and drove to Lexington, KY to pick up a 6700 mile 04 silver cobra. Drove it back home to MD. That trip was a blast!

I flew to Moline Illinois, drove a 99 Saleen S281 home to VA the following day. Was about 13 hours with a few stops for gas thanks to the 3:73's. Enjoyed the drive but surprised I made it with the dry rotted old bfgs!

The drive wasnt to BUY it, but I had left it in storage in VA when I was stationed in Ketchikan AK.

Picked it up and drove from YORKTOWN VA to PRINCE RUPERT, British Columbia to catch a ferry to Ketch.

Right about 3300 miles and 5 days of driving. Was a pretty epic trip. June 2006.
