doug is this how you talk to all your customers?

out of all the vendors i deal with, gords, lfp, hermann, the list can go on. i have never seen them post like a wise ass.

doug seems to me you have a problem with me from the past, maybe thats why?

the only PULLIES that i know work on this car are the supercharger pulley. i havent seen any tests with the engine pulleys, so i asked a SIMPLE question that required a simple answer. funny..........im 23 years old and act a bit more MATURE than you do doug.

the moderators here have the power to ban or talk to the members here, but i dont understand why they wont say anything to vendors.

stangfreak,

There was no reason for you to go off...
I was not being a "wise ass"

As you said, I simply asked a question

I'm kind of busy working right now (Yes I'm at work on a Sunday) and wanted to know for sure if you really needed that question answered... as I have answered it MANY times in the past.

If you were a noob I would have answered it right away.... but geezzzzz you got 1,770 posts..... I figured you sould already know the answer.

the more I think about it...

all you had to do is say "Yes, answer my question" and I would have...

Seems like you are the one with a problem with me.

You say you're only 23... maybe you should chill a bit before you have a heart attack

I got shit to do...la8er!

...snip...

Don't get all offended and butthurt man, figures with 1700+ posts you would have read about the stock idlers exploding on people, leaving them stranded, shredding belts.

I think Doug was asking you a question, not implying you were stupid or anything negative like that.

After you explain something 500 times you figure it is common knowledge.

Stangfreak, search for exploding idlers and you will find out why you should replace them.

For what it's worth, I don't think Doug was being a wiseass either. Don't be so touchy. It's too easy to take an email or a board post the wrong way.

Doug is always very helpful to customers.

Lesson to be learned here: To be a touchy moron and we won't be such wiseasses. :kaboom: So stop :cryying: :p

Doug Your my hero -

You just need to have a recorded voicemail that people can call and get answers to the same questions that they ask you every day instead of using search. :D

Kinda like those bankruptcy info tapes that are open 24/7.

Just got the car about 2 weeks ago, installed Borla stingers yesterday. This is something I am interested in if the price is right! I would go with the 2.93, 4 idlers and the puller/install tool.

I was doing a little calculating and added up a few prices for items I am looking to get and I came up with this:

Hub and 1 Pulley Ring (Non-Slip S/C Pulley) $149.95
4 Pulley Kit (4 Color Pulleys and Bracket) $254.95
Pulley Puller $170.00
Predator $400

It comes out to $970 for everything. (Seems kinda high?)
I'm assuming this is what everyone is paying for the same set-up?
Or is there something here that I DON'T need that could lower the price a bit?

You could rent or borrow the puller.

Ya I was thinking about that, maybe someone near me has it? I read the renting policy on builletflows website but I diden't fully understand it you pay $50+shipping to use the puller once, or does it go some other way?
