Yeah Michelin has a major flaw, really surprising they let this into production.

Let us know how you like them, may go that route next time.

Sorry it took so long to respond. Got them mounted a few weeks ago and wanted to give them a good break in before I commented on them.

Overall, I would recommend this setup to anyone. They look great (if not a little beefier) and they ride better. It may just be my hatred for the other tires coming out, but I feel like these translate less of the small, sharp bumps up into the cabin. Keep in mind, I recently had both lower control arms replaced up front, so they may be a factor in that as well.

As far as traction goes, it's averaging 98 degrees here so even the old F1's were getting decent traction on blacktop before I removed them but I am able to pin the accelerator from a stop with these and get only about 1 second of spin. After that, it's solid through 2nd and 3rd. This is with all the nannies on.

I haven't experienced any sort of wobble either. I know I remember reading that someone on here had tires other than the MPSS and had a wobble, but mine is clean and clear of that issue so far.

I'd say if you are weary of the MPSS like I was and the associated wobble, these are a helluva alternative.

So I had a set of the Michelin pss on my car. The rears are the 295/35 105y k1. Got a nail in the side wall of one of the rear tires. Went to buy another and they are all back ordered . Found a pair of 295/35. 105y but not k1s. Put them on and I now have the wobble that others have had. The car wobbles on acceleration up to 135 when I let off because it's a bit terrifying. Of course I tried it again on a different section of road with the same problem. The k1s did not have this issue and I ran them at a half mile event so it's definitely a tire issue. Tried diff psi in tires with no reduction in wobble.

My car squirms all over the place. MT drag radials made it not drivable. The car has so many "aids" that it isn't any fun to drive the car desides where it wants to go an does it. I'm sick of it.

Off/on it doesn't matter I got the wobble no matter what I change I tried tire pressures and still does it. It's flat out dangerous.

Greetings..I have the MPSS 275's up front and the NT05r's in 315's set up on the rear and I must say I do drive like Grandma in the rain but everywhere else I have an almost velcro like suction to the road. Recently had this set up rolling in 33 degree weather and they stuck. Wear has been ok it looks like I may get 2 seasons out the Nitto''s.

So I raised the air pressure in the rear tires to 47psi and the wobble is gone. No other changes. Same road and good to 140mph.

I posted a review on the Michelin site, detailing this issue, they didn't post it, said it didn't meet some requirement, lol. No negative reviews must be the requirement.

I'd hate to run that much pressure.

Traction has gone down a touch at this psi. Ill probably take it back down to 38psi and try not to exceed 100mph. It's a shame these tires have this issue because I love em otherwise.

It's about time for me to think about tire replacement, one more time whats the best tires to go with? As I'm 100% sure the wobble issue I have is Michelin tire related I won't be buying them again.

I'm going to start looking online now for a replacement, just thought I'd ask for recommendations again.

I would advise against that tire on the Z06, it's not the car.

It's the tires! I am a Corvette driver (wide body GS/702whp) and i have been lurking your thread on this issue

I am starting to catalog this issue and saving links to threads...THIS IS NOT JUST A CORVETTE ISSUE! I have found threads on GT500 and even BMW forums with just a little research. Michelin was kind enough to swap my rears out for $96 (sarcasm implied) and I still have the issue.

I posted the following to another thread today:

I have been following threads like this on multiple forums (it's not just a Corvette problem) and the issue is ALWAYS the same and ALWAYS related to Michelin tires! 100% of the time after reading through a typical thread eventually it comes out the owner with the "wobble" has Michelin's. To be clear not all owners with Michelins experience this.

Me: (702whp 2010 GS) I have been fighting this and I have two other sets of rims (drag pack and DR's on spare 19" rears)...with these other rears there is NO WOBBLE! Switch back to the Michelin PSS and under hard 3rd and 4th accel the rear end wobbles and it is VERY scary!

Michelin "exchanged" my rears and denied ever hearing of this problem (despite others reporting the issue and a friend reporting the issue directly to a race engineer at COTA). And yes I have another friend locally with his 675whp GS experiencing the EXACT same issue on his low mileage car.

BTW, I was charged $96 to exchange the rears for another set.

What really sucks is I love the wet/dry traction (lateral and straight line) but cannot trust these at high speeds as under accel the car "at times" will wag it's tail like a dog with a bone!!!!!!!!!!!

Going back to Discount this week to work on exchanging for another brand.

I actually sense side to side movement just going over bumps, to a much lesser degree thou.
