I went to the track yesterday and only got 3 passes, so I didn't really get a chance to figure out how to launch the car. I will say it was challenging on street tires, so I left from idle and rolled into it. The 60' was less than stellar, but the car feels pretty good. Definitely a lot of room to improve with a sticky tire and good 60'.. Today, we put it on the dyno and baseline numbers were 476 RWHP / 476 RWTQ.

Thank you

WTF 115? the ET is very impressive for such a slow MPH, I thought it would have been around 120mph

I have heard of another car that was stock other than "bigs and littles" and it had a better DA and 60' (1.6) and went 11.43 @ 120 mph.

I have no doubt that if I could have left off the converter on a tire and not had to roll into it that it would have went much quicker ET and MPH

Hey rick, did you guys ever dyno a stock 12 gt500? I'm just curious since these cars are so close in factory hp ratings. I know the zl1 in this case is an auto which probably eats up more hp but i'm still curious.

Just about where a 2011 GT500 is with a similar short time. I dunno about that trap speed though, 2011s have trapped 122mph+ in good conditions.

I'd like to see a CTS-V vs ZL1; my guess is it would be close stock and modified.

CTS-Vs are putting up better times, not by much though. .1 ET and 1 mph higher than the ZL1, which is strange because the ZL1 is making 24 more hp.

Give it time, CTS-V's are also 100-200 lbs heavier.

They're NOT 100-200lbs heavier. Both full size sedan platforms, with magnetic ride, lsa, same trans, etc, etc.

A loaded A6 zl1 weighs 4200lbs a CTS-V maybe 60lbs more.

Despite ratings I wouldn't be surprised if they put down close numbers as the V. Same motor, same blower.

now get a cam in that thing and spin the little 1900 faster and watch the ET's DROP!

Im still disappointed they used the 1900 instead of the 2300, don't understand that. Unless they know something i don't. Its been a while but looking at the compressor maps for both the 2300 would be better suited, especially once you start trying to spin the guts out of it.

H/C/TVS 2300, CAI, LTs, tuned CTS-Vs are laying down 650-700rwhp
