How long will it take? I might run into you, or your car, because i'm probably going to get them to do my brakes pretty soon.

They said a month...My car is a silver cobra with chrome saleens...If you do see me, i'm an older guy and i'll be with my 15year old son...

First post in a long time, but here goes. I did Crower stage 3s when I had my car, and even though they sound awesome, they aren't worth it for the power. I went from 450ish rwhp to 479rwhp after cams. I was planning to do a TS, but I sold the car before that panned out. Basic point being, if 500-550rwhp is all that you want, cams and head porting aren't worth it. If you plan to keep the car and want to go for big power later down the road, you may want to try to swing it while the motor is apart. It's a lot less down time (if that matters to you) and it's less risk of messing other things up in the motor the less you tear it all down. If I were you, going with a built motor now, I'd pull out all the stops that I could. You know that you're going to want more power after you drive it for a week or two. I don't care who you are, the thrill goes away to an extent after you drive it one way for a while.

Not trying to hijack your thread but, porting the heads takes care of the heating problem in the 7th and 8th cylender correct? If not what does, other than the head cooling mod?

I'm not sure if porting the heads helps the problem or not....maybe someone will chime in....You could get the 05 updated heads that don't have the cooling problem.
