Looks awesome! That car is going to put down some insane power. What are the projected hp numbers?

We are hoping to be around 850rwhp at 18psi with 93 and who knows what on race gas... We will see what happens. Looks like we are strapping the car down either Thursday some time or Saturday morning. Have to iron it out with the crew at Lund Racing. I cant wait!

Hey Guys,

First off, I am really sorry to leave you all hanging!!! I have been slammed with work and some travel and have not been on the forum too much. And the little free time that I have had has been behind the wheel of this tire burning monster!

So, the car has not been on the dyno yet but we have data logged a few pulls on the street and worked on the tune with Lund Racing. We have a little work left to do but are pretty much there. There is a new dyno being installed at P1 so we are sort of holding until its installed rather then using the dyno at the other local shop... NOTHING and I swear on my life, NOTHING has gone wrong on a dyno or anything of that sort. The car is an absolute MONSTER and loves to stretch its legs. There have been a few pulls made against some local cars from around 45-60mph (on a closed road in mexico of course) and the car just pulls away with ease. The key is making sure there is some heat in the tire and if/when she gets a little squirly you have to drive through it. The one thing that I have learned is you can not short shift it too much with the stock clutch because when you put the pedal down, it just wants to GO regardless of what gear. The clutch holds pretty well otherwise. We will most likely be putting in the new clutch once we are on the dyno if I can predict anything in the future...

As for sound, the blower is nice and quite for the most part when under full boost but when its idiling at a light you can hear it whine like a prehistoric animal so passing for stock is not an option unless they are clueless... The 2" headers sound amazing through the stock mufflers. Its catless just for those that are catching this all now... My buddy was behind me in a 458 Spyder and said he couldnt even hear his car with me just cruising in 5th. In 6th it quites down a lot. When you drop the hammer and the 3.6 is packing its 18 pounds into the motor it sounds like a full blown race car and turns heads from a half mile away. Its awesome.

What the car NEEDS from here is new motor mounts and a billet tranny mount. The stock mounts are junk when its pulling this hard. It will also be needing several sets of rear tires because I just cant stop doing roll on 3rd gear burnouts at 60mph when someone is tailgating me....

I hope to get some video up soon and will be happy to answer any questions you all may have. So far I am incredibly impressed with the mods and cant wait for more down the road...

UPDATE:

The guys at P1 Motorcars got the headers done yesterday. Just as a reminder these are the 2" American Racing Headers (catless). A few things everyone should know... American Racing Headers makes one of the nicest headers I have ever seen for an American car. The quality/fit/finish is absolutely amazing. I HIGHLY recommend these in any size to anyone thinking about it! Also, to say that its tight up there would be a brutal understatement... MOTHER OF GODDDDDDDD! :bash::mj::cuss: Once they are in and all tightened down they clear everything perfectly... in order to install you have to remove several things such as: Driver side- oil filter, dip stick and tube, steering shaft Passenger side- starter, lower sub frame and engine off motor mounts.

I chose to retain the factory cat back exhaust for now to see what it makes on the dyno and how it sounds. The car sounds absolutely amazing! (video to come this weekend). If there are any questions on any of this please feel free to ask...

For now, here are some pics to check out. Hopefully we will get the car tuned next week when the crew from Lund Racing gets back from the races in Norwalk Ohio this weekend. Cant wait!

I'm thinking the car got blowed up! No response to this thread or a pm that I sent. And he has logged in numerous times lately.

I am guessing something negative happened as I am sure the shop wouldn't want negative info coming out about their projects as that would kill business.

If I'm not mistaken it was for sale on eBay not too long ago? Somebody has to know something about it.
