Subbing for pics and updates on the OP's lack of communication. He's got a GREAT idea and the few pics that have been posted thus far are excellent, but I'm concerned about his customer service. If things get on the up and up however, I'd be interested in a set of Oxford White Cobra emblems....!

zach the snakes look sweet! cant wait to see more pics with the various colors. ill probably order some for the tool box since i dont have a cobra any more lol.

ive seen this done before and it looks cool. the red stripe edition(?) gt500s come with the emblems like this from ford. they look great because theyre so different than the norm.

give him some time guys. zach is a good guy. im sure he'll come through as he has on a few already. this is really custom stuff we're talking about here and paint can be a major pita to work with. a month isnt too long of a turn around time.

zach, might be a stupid question, but new emblems are included for the price right? if so, that's a great deal considering what youre getting  im sure my painter would charge at least that much just for the labor. painters dont work for cheap. they'd rather starve lol.

guys its relatively easy to make these. Just get a matching paint pen from your local auto store. took me like half an hour to make this...

Oh, you mean the factory style touch up pens with a brushed or ball point type... got ya

Yeah... paint the whole snake the color you want the inserts to be, then hit the outside with some black... If thats the color combo you want... If you want a chrome outside, just hit it with some 2000 grit wet sandpaper.

I actually had the same experience on a tail light trade I did with him. He requested trading a set of smoked tails for a set of stockers. I happened to have a mint set, that I was planning to tint anyway, so it seemed like a no-brainer to swap him. Well, he said he needed them by the following weekend for a show, so I sent mine out the next day via Priority so he would have them on time. After several weeks, I finally got him to say he would send them. By this time a month had passed by the time I got them. If they had been off of my car (so I couldn't drive it) I would have been really pissed! When they arrived they were not nearly as nice as the stock ones which I sent.:nonono: The tint was nice and even, and clear coated, but the clear was chipping around the edges from why I suspect was improper prep in that area. They were fairly dirty too. I know personally I would never send something out in that condition, unless I was upfront with the buyer about it. I would also not hold off shipping parts out when I was the one specifying a speedy timeframe! I still haven't been able to use them, because I have to re-sand, and re-clear them, since I am afraid that the de-lamination will continue onto the lens area and ruin them completely. All in all, I'm really disappointed, because I thought I was saving some time, and a few bucks by swapping, but as it turns out I should have just worked with the ones I already had, since I have to prep, and re-clear these anyway...:nonono:

Second! Unless I get a set of badges free of cost! jk but seriously, the OP needs to get some action on here asap or he wont get any business at all from this venture he's thought up.
