"GMEATR" 5.0 had a little too much on his plate.

I hate those dumb ass plates.. there is a integra around here with the plate v8 ha ha.. he's at about 260whp.. so he does kill a few g.ts. he met up with me with just simple bolt ons. Got his ass beat.. said quickest g.t he's ever seen -___- let's just say he really hated it when he upped the boost and I slapped the 150 shot on and he got destroyed by bus lengths and bus lengths... he no longer has that car and now drives a older transam

I knew a local kid with a similar plate... HAHAV8 on his STi with a bigger turbo and boltons. Kid was a meathead (still is actually) and got stomped by my buddy's 07 GT with cam, boltons, and gears. Yet this kid would brag he put 1/2 a length on my stock Lightning. Yes sir, your big turbo modified Subaru put 1/2 a length on my stock pickup truck. Gratz.

That car wouldn't be located in MS would it? I remember a car with that tag not to long ago.

Op, the dyno sheet you posted shows sub 440/400 and a track time of 12s at 118. You happen to have that slip? I can understand beating up on stock 350z's, but how do you beat an 08 c6z? You say the car makes 450rwhp now but are you rounding up? What class do you plan on running at the lsx shootout?

I'm jealous the op is roasting his tires from 75 rolls and my shit box couldn't do that unless it was raining!

Well.. The day I dyno'd it, it was very hot and humid. It was close to 100 degrees outside. I had it retuned since the original date and it made 448. 10rwhp gain between the retune, TB, and 65 degree weather... So I rounded up 2hp.

As for my track times.. Those were on street tires with very soft launches... That was my first time out with the new mods also. I wasnt expecting much either. I had on average a 2.0-2.1 60' and I was launching at 2K rpm's and pedalling it until I felt comfortable enough where I knew it wouldnt spin. You've prob seen my gopro videos, so watch the race vs the blue mustang. That will explain a lot... Notice where I start walking him at.. The car is capable of better than low 12's. :lol1:

The car doesnt like to hook on street tires. I can get traction from roll races.

My father owns then C6 Z I raced. We were playing around on the way back from a car show. I by no means walked him, but I did edge him out on the 55 roll. he was at my back bumper by 120. I can easily set up a race...

I'm going back to the track tomorrow on better tires. My friend is letting me borrow his slicks. That should solve my traction problems, and I can guarantee MUCH better results now that I can launch it.

As for the LSX shootout, I'm not sure about the classes yet. I'm going to see how I do with and without the nitrous and go from there. I dont have any accurate times yet, and I still got some time to pick. I'm trailering it down with a few friends and their cars. I havent had the car long enough to be a pro driver at the track. The mods went on a little under 2 months ago. I've been to the track 1 time with the mods on street tires.

I'd be happy to post up vids of the results vs my fathers C6 Z with the gopro's next time we go out.

I usually dont keep my time slips just because I'm unorganized and lose them. They're all over the place. As long as the weather cooperates tomorrow, I'll scan the slips for you.

Anything else you want? I'm not sure what you're trying to get out of this...

What I'm getting at is you embellish a bit in your posts. One minute you are roasting tires at 75mph and the next you are at a sweet spot at 55 mph and hold off a c6z. Dyno numbers don't mean much so good luck at the track tomorrow.

Being more of a lurker, the few times I have been in the same topics as Camaro_94, I gotta say he is far from a bullshitter. He is pretty respected on this board and tells it like it is and while he is an LSX guy he readily admits he likes Mustang's, so obviously no douchebaggery from his OP. He is willing to take a video of him racing his father's C6Z, it doesn't get more open and up front than that.

Never said the OP was a douche-bag, but many of his posts are misleading and contradictory. One minute he is having traction problems at 70mph and the next minute he is pulling out instantly in races from 55 mph in 2nd gear. Since you are backing him up can you explain that one to me? I don't understand the logic of dumping money into something to add power when you say you are having such traction problems already? You just told me you are getting a new RPM rear with 3.73s, why not a set of tires so you can use the power you are making now?

Here are some of your older posts that contradict each other:

I hear both of them down shift, so I drop it into second. The Cobra starts the beep sequence. After the 3rd beep, were off! I instantly start pulling on them. By 130 I had 10+ cars on them. It was hard to tell, but they were back there.

First race - 55 roll
I started out in second gear for this race. He started in 3rd. The RPM's were screaming at 5500. He beeps it off. On the third beep, I instantly pull out a cars length. By the top of 3rd, I'm out 1.5 cars.(I understand you being a lower gear would help in this situation, but what happened to not being able to get traction?)

Thanks guys. It pulls hard lol. Those vids after the mods on were with TCS on because it will just roast the tires.

Yeah, I'll have a 100 shot on by the end of the season. Traction control is useless now because it powers right through it so I'll have to get tires too... Not to mention I roasted them at 75 yesterday. lol(Was it raining?)

You also mentioned you were running consistent 12.3s at 118 during your track day with major traction issues. The only run in your video that you can make out an actual time for proof shows you getting beat by the yellow c6 that ran 12.4 at 116 when you were running consistent 12.3s at 118? Not saying the car isn't capable of a 12.3, but a stick car on street tires is not exactly the easiest car to be consistent with at the track. I really do hope you go to the track tomorrow and bust off a 10.9 at 125+ and get a video of you holding off a c6z (driven properly), but I don't see either happening with your current setup.

Why do you keep assuming things? Dont go off old threads! I have a set of slicks MT ET Street slicks for it...

You have selective hearing/reading... I can get good traction on rolls... HOWEVER, when I go from a dig, I'll usually spin.

Thanks guys. It pulls hard lol. Those vids after the mods on were with TCS on because it will just roast the tires.

With TCS on, I WILL still spin.

Roasted.. cherped... same thing. got me.

I think you just feel like argueing. He beat me off the line. That was my FIRST pass with the car. Give me a little break. You can clearly see me pulling on him at the end of the track. And that wasnt a stock C6 either... That was his first time at the track also.

IDK why you're calling BS on those slow times. I made 5-7 passes that day (cant remember the exact number), but they were all between 12.3-12.4 (minus the one I let off near the starting line). I think the race vs the truck would have been my best one, but I missed 4th, and still ran a 12.3... You can hear it in the video.

If you have questions, please feel free to ask. I have no problem answering any questions, and I will try to answer as best as I can and/or prove what I'm saying. My car should be a mid-low 11 second car at the track on motor. I just picked up the tires an hour ago and theyre sitting in my fathers garage.

IDK what else you want from me... I have a whole thread with pictures showing the work done... A dyno video... Graphs... GoPro video's with 2 different angles of each run...

I didnt think it was necessary to keep the slips of my slow times the first time out, since they really dont mean anything and I didnt think I was going to be called out after running those slow times.
