lurker here!!

I mostly lurk on here so I can learn more about my ride and its transformation. Should be posting some questions about my turbo build and hopefully wont get to beat up. I use the search option but sometimes think that its a joke!!

this is what noobs should do as far as the older cars go. not many new questions and they would display a lot less stupid if they would simply do a search.

horseshit. the only ones that get run off are those that a)don't read and understand the rules, particularly in regards to smackdown, b) those that display massive amounts of stupid and c) those whose skin is so thin that they fail to take the advice of the regulars and get asshurt when they continue to fail in regards to a and b

I've kinda been lurking since I joined, not out of choice really. I joined shortly before I deployed and my net doesn't cooperate much. I have to say theres some pretty cool people on here and I like that several non-Ford owners are on here, its just refreshing. In a couple weeks I'll post more. I read the rules and if someone gets butthurt over what someones says from a keyboard then they deserve to be run off. I agree with the statement below.

I post occasionally. Been a member here for a long time. Longer than it says because I lost my original sign in and password and started over. I stay in pics and vids mostly. So many of the regulars that post on here arecinternet tough guys. Every time there's an interesting thread, someone screws it up by being rude. I quit posting mostly for that reason. I read until it gets ugly, then I'm out.

Guilty as charged. I lurked on the website for a while before joining when I had my old 2004 GT Mustang. I am usually on here every day mostly after work and by that time if I see a post I want to comment about it is already old news. I really enjoy when new Cobra owners post up their prized beauties because I remember a couple of years ago when I was able to purchase one myself how excited I was to finally own a terminator.

I lurk in the tech forums in effort to learn more about my car but don't usually post unless i'm asking a question or thanking someone for their input.

Most of my posts are in roadside, 90% percent of which are meant only to shine you on. Most of you come off as complete pricks and sometimes its entertaining to stoop to your level.

Some of the moderators on this site are intolerable! I'm sure those mods would be pleased to know that the inane tripe they post inspires me not to post, but those same mods also inspire me to not patronize SVTP authorized vendors. Arrogant moderators have cost site sponsors business.

Really? I guess my view of how they are is the opposite. While I may not agree with everything they say or do, they seem to be alright to me. Of course, I've seen them be jerks to some people but most of the time the person deserved it. Now there are some members on the other hand that get carried away with how they treat other people. But that is a different subject.

I guess I would be considered a lurker as well. I check the site frequently but I don't post all that often. Sometimes, I have to stop from posting stuff when I read through smackdown to prevent myself from saying something stupid (debatable how well I pull it off ha).

Sorry man but that is the exact type of thing I believe he was talking about. Sure, a lot of people who get ripped on deserved it for one reason or the other. But this guy just stated his opinion on it, no need to be condescending to him. Your post defninately didn't refute his assertion.
