The Shelby is impressive, no doubt about it. The ZL1 is already modded... I want to see a bone stock track ET, it's just going to be hard to hook it with that kind of power.

Question........did the dyno pull for the GT500 reach 7000 RPM, and if so, what did you guys see for HP/TQ (if it's not secret) ?

Good numbers Dave.:beer: I wan to see a stock one dyno'd at about 2500 miles. The SVTP GT picked up quite a bit of power on the same dyno in very similar conditions after a couple thousand miles.

I agree.
Al Papitto told me for some reason the 5.4 (I suppose the 5.8 also)
will all of a sudden pick up a bunch when you start the car one morning.
I built my buddy's 5.4 and his picked up after about 2k miles.
Enough for an older retired guy to notice.
I am hoping the new Shelby does the same thing, let's hope so.

Torque numbers went down to like 580 on that one. Engine seems to make more power when cool, more torque when a little hot.
