put it this way, my 2013 M6 GT, BONE STOCK was running over half a second and 4mph FASTER than a KB blown, challenger RT auto on DR's. Just saying!

That auto in the challenger will soak up most driver error.
The Charger and Challenger have nice power numbers but the weight and gearing makes them dogs. Ive ran plenty and have yet to be surprised by one.
Not saying they are not great cars tho. Id daily drive one for sure.
I'm just going by personal experience, my encounters with 6.1 srt8's have been highway run rolls (till I get tires) and that's where my car shines. The closest run I had was 4 car length behind and he had full exhaust, owner was even calling his challenger a Prius after that run..
Tht was a close run there though that u posted, is that a 392 charger? I guess we'r a bit more evenly matched from a dig, but the pull toward the end on tht 1/8 run on the 5.0's part was nice.. shows that once the coyote builds up some steam, our top end really helps, esp with a boss manifold.
There was a 392 challenger at the meet I went to last night, but he was stock and it was this kids first nite out to a meet with it soo I didn't want to push him into a run, plus I want one with atleast a tune

That is a 6.1 Charger in the Vid, funny enough. Stock traps on the 6.1 are 108-109, where the stock 392 is 112-114. The Mustang is a compact compared to the full size Charger, really different classes of car. Pick the one that suits your needs.
