I actually ran 89mph in the 1/8th. This is in a bolt on M5 Mach 1. (see sig)

Nice, were you hanging 3rd all the way out or did you get into 4th around 1200ft? I remember doing 105.44 stockish in my 03 up here (4300) because I didn't quite have enough time to grab 4th, probably could have trapped 106-107 if the gearing was different then.

89 is booking in the 8th so I'm guessing its something similar where its just barely banging redline while your crossing the line otherwise you'd click off 109-110.

I was around 6,300rpms in 4th while I crossed the traps. Where is the proof of the low 13 second 01 Cobra?

I didnt find a 13.1 01 cobra but a lot of mach's have done so. I mixed them up. There are a decent bunch of 13.22-29's ran by 01 cobra's though. From what I just saw, most run 13.3-13.6, but they ranged 13.22 to 14+.

Regardless, it a slim difference from a 13.22 to a 13.19

The ss m6's put 25-30whp down more than the 01 cobra's, that's why hero run ss's have hit 12's.

We don't like bullshitting, that's all.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the "fact" that a properly driven, bone stock '01 Cobra will outrun a properly driven, bone stock LS1 F-Body. I've NEVER seen it happen personally, and I guarantee nobody else has either. Now I wonder why...

The ss m6's put 25-30whp down more than the 01 cobra's, that's why hero run ss's have hit 12's.

And that's exactly why they'll win stock for stock and mod for mod. That's also why a set of gears in this equation doesn't automatically put the Cobra out front.

Loving and owning both Mustangs and Camaros so no homer.

You're going to get smashed. Gears will help you keep it close for about an 1/8 then you will get walked. The auto only helps him because it will make his launch and shifting idiot proof. Come on homers a "drivers race" please a stock Terminator vs 98-02 SS would be a drivers race.

A stock terminator vs an ss is the 03's race to lose, very different cars.

The whole thing has been an auto ss vs an m5 01 cobra. An auto ss/z28 is at best tied/a fender faster than a stock 01 cobra. At worst, with a great driver, it loses by 2-4 tenth in the 1/4.

13.6's vs 13.2's, come on now.

Post it up! I own a 99-01 Cobra and this is news to me. You were talking about hero runs and here you post up "one".

You've never seen or heard of 01's running 13.2? Doubtful. I did mix up Mach's and 01's running 13.1 which would have been a hero run but 13.2's have been done, not nearly as uncommon as 12 second fbody's bone stock.

You're more delusional than tt335ci03cobra! :nonono: Some of the BEST runs from completely stock LS1 F-Body's are what the AVERAGE Terminator's run! :lol1:

SO POST UP PROOF!!

Fact is a 01 Cobra stock would do GOOD to run a 13.6. An A4 LS1 would do that with simply holding the go pedal to the floor. A M6 LS1 would go between 13.3-13.4 with a decent driver. Those are real world facts, not your bullshit online calculators. :loser:
