The seats look amazing, I too wish they were plug and play for mine. Understand what cha saying Tob would have loaned you my hog ring pliers if I known you needed a set. By the way saw your write up and welding skills in the BOSS 302 side pipes. Very cool and neat idea! I like very much.

If I lived a little closer I'd be over there with hog pliers and extra rings helping you trying to figure this bad boy out, are you looking to keep your power base on the drivers side? I'll definetly be looking to keep mine.

Hmmm...I wonder if the entire blue stripe seating area could be un-stiched and switched over to the Recaro's by a good leather shop. That would look cool.

I was just thinking that and also taking the leather cobra emblem and stitching it over the Ford Racing emblem...

Pony23, how are you separating the plastic bezels at the top of the seats (where you'd run a harness through)? Squeeze and release (somehow) or do you need to unlatch a clip?

Sorry Tob, I haven't done anything with this project yet. I have been slowly taking care of the cars rusty butt repair. I also scored a brand new Fay's 2 watts link on eBay for a really nice price. Trying to finish that project first. If I keep jumping around the car it will never get back on the ground. :rolling:

I just got a message regarding the "B" Recaro seats from FRPP. There are only a handful of them left and then the only listing will be the slightly more expensive "C" seat. Unless of course, a leather offering ever happens.:whine:

Did not appear to be much of a difference when I scanned both descriptions. Only thing I saw different was B said fits all 2011-2012 Mustang and C says GT500 and Boss...

Seats look great . Could probably switch the material over but that FRPP will have better grip if you're going to track the car. Save the other seats if you ever need to go back stock.

I'm working with someone on a material change. My fingers are crossed that leather may indeed be in my future...

01SVTSnake, you should look into getting a rear seat delete kit. Your interior looks odd now with the blue striped vinyl rear seats and all black cloth front seats.

They will be custom. I was able to choose stitching color seatback insignia design, etc. As much as I could have gone with some wild colors I'm staying true to the near stock look.
