You know what I'd like to see is Dom whip out the orange Supra from the first one. I don't remember them saying anything about what happened to that car. It'd be good to see it again

+1, and since they brought Vince back in fast five, how about bringing Leon back? Although his skyline got crushed by the gov't so I guess he'll be driving something else :lol1:

If I wanted to see what could actually happen with hot girls and cars I would go to a local car meet.

you mean japanese twins dont wait to line up and race? wait...you mean chicks arent in the back ground making out every where at street races?

however, i was impressed with this movies car selections. as we pulled into the parking lot...it was a ricer fest. honda and acuras with 18 story wings everywhere. i had to explain to the wife what was happening. she thought it was a local car show in the parking lot going on to promote the movie. i said nope....this is how it is at every F&F movie. then i told her....wait until its over....thats when the real entertainment starts. burnouts leaving the parking lot. races to the red light....bumble bee invasion....its great. she lol'd and thought i was kidding.

now...how they were dressed was entertaining too.

I thought it was entertaining which is what going to the movies is all about.

For the 7th installment, they need to bring back the orange supra and Dom's black muscle car (as repaired of course).

The first F&F is still a cult movie simply because many of us can relate to the racing scenes. Just about every local town and city had illegal street racing gatherings while some looked out for cops. The next setting should be back on the streets of good ol L.A

Saw the movie tonight. I went in to it expecting some over-dramatic, unrealistic action, but it still amazed me how crazy and stupid it got. They've just gone too far with these movies IMO. I thought it was supposed to be about racing? It was nothing but fight scenes, corny dialog and explosions with a few cool cars thrown in for good measure. Now, as a man I can appreciate the entertainment value in all of that, but I just felt like it was insulting my intelligence. They didn't even make an attempt at writing something that made sense.

We saw it this weekend and really liked it. Well done. Except the 'Superman' bridge scene was a bit over the top and the world's longest runway ever.

loved it. it was entertaining even though once again, they destroy the mustang. what is it with FF movies hating mustangs. lol!! . i don't go see F&F movies wonder about the meaning of life... lol. yes the 100 mile long runway bugged me, but other than that it was a good movie. would see it again. people are just to jaded and expect to much from movies like this. but to each their own.

It shouldn't be a surprise that the movies have changed from cult street racing to more of an action/heist theme - that's what gets people into the theaters. My only complaint is the runway scene - they could have cut the length of that scene in half and been fine. I saw it with two friends over the weekend and one of them was cracking up beforehand b/c he'd seen the "runway across America" pic, so we all went in expecting it to be unrealistic.

Great movie though - curious to see what direction they take with FF7.

i can't wait to get this on dvd so that I can lol at the escort jump, the dom jump and the roman jump again. The next one will be different since justin lin wont be directing it so maybe there is hope that the stunts will be more realistic  unless of course john singleton comes back and gives us flying camaros and ejecto-seato again

The red daytona IS his charger, it just gets the appearence changed in every movie. How ever I thought it looked best in the first one.

I remember reading about this in a copy of "Superstreet" magazine "back-n-day":
it ended up being sold by an auction house and shipped over-seas in Europe somewhere.
As for the R34, that one belonged to someone in FL but after F&F2 supposedly he had to "hide it" due to all the attention from the movie......
>
Man, it's been what something like 12 years since the "first one" came out.... I remember how "crazy" it was leaving the theater- you could tell who watched the 1st one by all the dumb s%$t that was happening in the parking lot & on the boulevards.....
>
I like this one & the series overall, as usual they each had their "quirks" but each are unique and to me not too "played-out"....

When you actually watch the movie, you will see how that Daytona gets into the story line
