I have the VMP stage 3 kit. It came with the JLT intake, and the upgraded throttle body. Some of the boost is due to the cold weather, as I put the kit on late fall early winter, and have not had a warm day to run it yet(it was maybe 50 out). I am sure when we get a few days with 90+ weather boost will be lower around 11-12.

Thanks for all the feed back guys, I'm hoping to hit around 550-600rwhp with the VMP TVS Stage 1 kit, with BBK Long Tubes, ORX and GT500 Axle back with either a 85 or 82mm pulley. Any of you guys replaced the piston/rods or the water pump gears? I've heard those can be issues. Also anyone on stock MT82/Stock Clutch?
I'm still on the stock mt82. Mine whines but has done it from the day I bought the car.
Mine has 49,000 miles with no whine, well only whined during winter when I'd run it cold without warming her up and it was typically -20 out. But other then that she shifts smooth and no issues.
I'm in the process of replacing everything, broke a rod & windowed the block...keep it under 600whp & you should be safe
Mine shifts great lol. Other than the whine it shows no signs of slowing down. I kinda like the whine. It makes up for the lack of blower whine lol.
Thats sad news, I was hoping the TVS would whine like the Eaton and like my KB 2.2 on my 04 Cobra did. I've heard some videos on youtube that you can really hear it mainly on the GT500 guys who are running a TVS 2.3 but seems most videos I've found for the 5.0's they aren't very loud. Wonder if boost has anything to do with it, maybe the more boost the louder?
Spin them hard they get loud. Mine is only 8.5 psi on the 82 so I barely hear it.
i have the JLT, minor whistle and barely any scream. what pulley are you running?
Mine makes some noise now with the newly installed 75mm and the stock airbox.
I think 75 is asking to toss a rod in my car lol. I don't have the testicular fortitude for that!
570/472 with 85mm pulley and JLT cai only. This was on the second pull with no cool down. 14k mi on car, 7k mi boosted. Stock clutch and mt82 are fine. I did put amsoil syncromesh fluid in the trans when blower was installed. Also installed a boss tranny cooler as well. I did all the preventative stuff during install and everything is good to go. Great set up with 3.31 gear. Ive hurt some feelings.
Alex12GT had a pretty slick setup on his old ride... this was his setup>>>736rwhp, 688rwtq with the Roushcharger, 72mm pulley, id1000's, JLT Coldair intake, Vortech BAP, and Pypes Headers on an Aluminator engine w/ Billet oil pump gears... that was on 93 pump gas
