Hey I'm thinking about grabbing this but was wondering do I have to remove my whiteline trans bushing or can I keep it in? I need something that helps with high rpms shifts

should be able to keep in trans mount. but I haven't seen the whiteline either. I have high rpm issues 1-2 shifting above 7k that seems to be a clutch issue as I still have the same problem.

Has anyone bought one of this? If so what do you think about it? Its kind of pricey...:fm::fm::fm: (Mustang Blowfish Racing Shifter Support Bracket 2011-2014)

After installing Blow Fish Bracket in my car a couple days ago. I can honestly say, $300 was worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY. Blow Fish Racing could charge a few extra $100's and I bet people would still buy it if they knew how much it improves the shifting. I know I would.

So would you guys say it's about the same noise/vibration as in an older car without a remote shifter? It seems that may be the case. I don't really notice any odd/excessive noises from the trans right now...no problems at this time so hopefully if this was installed, it shouldn't be too bad. Correct?

I don't know why people are getting noise increase, but I only experienced the small vibration on the shifter... No noises for me, maybe they weren't installed correctly.

I am thinking people are saying they are getting NVH rather than breaking it down and saying I am get NVibrationH or NVibrationandHarshness. Feel like the vibration in the shifter is being considered NVH rather than V.

The only time you will get noise is if the shifter is touching the trans tunnel after the install, which you should be able to work around since the mount is adjustable.

Thanks everyone. A little extra vibration would be ok if it means saving the trans and better shifting.

Just installed mine and I do have increased vibration, nothing bad at all, no noise at all. I have an MGW and I did use the first gen mount instead of the second gen mount. My second gen mount was hitting the studs for the body mounted shifter and creating a lot of noise. I am sure if I had moved it around a bit I could have cleared it but didn't have a lot of time to mess with it.

The bracket just plan works, I do not think that there is anything else that can come close to this. I am not sure what the stock shifter feels like with the bracket but with the MGW it is the ticket.

Leme know when you do... I am curious...

i did yesterday, this bracket is great but its not the solution for the 1-2 7k+ rpm shift. I believe as other stated this is a clutch issue(think something about the pressure plate). but I the love the bracket make shifting a real pleasure. next mod will be clutch once I decide which one.
