I never seem to experience this where I drive in Nebraska and Kansas. People, including myself, stay in the right lane unless we need to pass.
I also drive like an old lady, because I know that most new cars and diesel trucks can definitely make a fool out of me.

In Texas it's called "Left Lane No Pass". I'm sure it's certainly not high on the DPS priority list so it's best to go around them as best as we can. I will usually look over and not surprised by the demographic (not a wide range for sure) behind the wheel.

Just to clarify on this post, because everybody seems to be confused about...he means whenever somebody is being an asshole in FRONT of him, not letting him pass, etc., then what he'll do is when he finally gets a chance to pass him, he'll get in front of him and slow down to piss off the asshole back.

I recognize two different types of drivers every day. The first group is on their cell phone, lazily splitting lanes for 10 seconds without a turn signal, going 10 under the speed limit and generally does not acknowledge anyone else is on the road.
The second group will tailgate you in a school zone getting all worked up, fly by, then you come to a stop behind them at the next light..
Lots of stupid drivers on the roads these days. I blame cell phones and social media lol!

I've lived all over the U.S. and I think that title goes to Georgia with Texas in a close second.
I live in California and i can tell you right now it's the worst place to drive! Its full of illegals who dont even have drivers licenses or insurance, have never read a dmv hand book in there lives. Most cant even read the street sighns becouse they can speak English and they are rude as hell! And they turned my home town into a chit whole! Cant wait to move out!!!

People love to just get in the fast lane and squat, then they only have to worry about the lane on their right for traffic. I went to AZ back in late 90's and I was driving my 95' Cobra and I had just passed a couple semi's and stayed in the fast lane. Big no no there I find out. I see a DPSS car coming the other direction, ck my speed, all good. Then he merges into the center divider, u turns, and starts after me. My wife says "is he coming for you and I said I don't know, but there is no one else around." I had been flying while in CA, but backed off once we got into AZ.
The DPSS guys pulls me over and asks why I am in the fast lane. Tells me the blacktop is "new" and it was just paved not too long ago. i am thinking man there is no way I could be a cop here, you have to know how old the blacktop is. He then informs me the fast lane is to pass only and then get back over. I am like yes sir, sorry sir, thank you sir. I wish CA had that rule, course the Prius folks wouldn't pay it no mind.
Bottom line I usually just signal and go around, otherwise I end up regretting it with some jerk playing brake check games, speed up, or just trying to get you to nail it so he can see it go.

Lol...get the facts straight, I drive a C63, I haven't driven my neon is well over 2yrs since I don't have an interest in drag racing anymore. Should I mention my track toy as well so u don't have to view my profile for info on me tough guy? Hahaha
